Horrorcow Blue Moon Nursery by Smurf in Hand - Baby Smurf Gore/Snuff/Torture Pornography

I think it's the fact people put a lot of time and effort into showing so much detail in the pain and torment helpless creatures are going through. It's the obsession of explaining every little horrible detail that tells you the writer/artist is getting off to it or so immersed in the thought of babies being given excruciating torture. Normal people don't ponder these things and draw them out to share with the public for the sake of attention. The reactions from the readers are also disturbing in that everyone's mildly concerned and not wondering why this guy is writing entire pages explaining how a baby is being abused.

Ugghh.

There is something seriously wrong with this man.

He starts out creating cutsey stories about infant smurfs, which already have an uneasy flair about them - like how the infant is delivered in a small box adressed to a research lab. Later, he describes accidents befalling his beloved smurflings, such as getting into a dryer, and goes to uncomfortable length describing their pains and injuries. At the end, full-blown torture scenes.

It's like a psychopath who intentionally hardens himself by first committing small acts of violence such as throwing hot coffee or shooting orange juice at people, before he goes on a murderous rampage.

So the moral outrage is basically coming from "they're raping, torturing and murdering my childhood"? I'm just trying to understand why people are so worked up over this. There are far worse things out there. I mean, this, to me, isn't as offensive as, say, lolicon. I'm honestly not trying to be a dick here, I just am really interested why this and the fluffy pony stuff has everyone so up in arms.

It's kind of like how certain types of horror film have no effect on some people, while terrifying others. This sort of thing resonates with a lot of folks and sets off their horror and disgust.

This shit = drawing underaged characters being murdered, abused, maimed and tortured

I'd say it's all more or less on the same level of shittiness and degeneracy. Whether you fuck or murder someone's childhood, either way you are fucking it up and that's fucked up dude.

Satan's point is a good one. One knows one isn't about to see anything lighthearted when one selects Saw from the Redbox, but when the average person sits down to read a story about the Smurfs, they are unlikely to be prepared for vile torture porn. It's a cheap way to elicit a reaction from one's audience.

That said, there's a long tradition of tricking people into clicking on stuff they didn't want to see, and gross shit on the internet is pretty much par for the course. In a normal online community, if someone comes along and posts vile fapfic in an inappropriate setting, what happens? It's deleted, the offender is blocked, and everyone moves on. No big deal.

But here, one realizes with dawning horror that this is not a normal community. The regular denizens of that smurfboard were all like, "Tee hee, poor babies! I can't wait to find out what happens next! You're a good writer, Smurfinhand!" The lone voice of reason is banned for trolling. One wonders, are all these people actually retarded? Are they perverts too? Is this the real world?

Suddenly, the real world seems just as alien and wrong as the smurf-torturing universe dreamed up by some online degenerate. The weird dystopian-nested-story-worldbuilding thing is what got to me.
