Tumblr already has a report system in place to combat copyright infringement (lol) If he was really just butthurt about the use of Atea,all he would have to do is file the report and provide a link to the kid's comic, a link to the original, and then include a brief statement as to why he felt it wasn't fair use. He wouldn't have won, obviously, but it would've been handled in private without any fanfare. By going out of his way to be an asshole in public forums, he's only burning bridges in the eyes of his fans and bystanders, all because he couldn't actually argue against any of the points the kid was making and instead had to target "but muh characters!!!"

Also can't help but notice that Dobson keeps claiming that the other artist "asked for permission" to use a Atea and asked if he liked it, and then threw a tantrum when he said no, when the artist said no such thing: just that if Dobson sees it that they hope he responds to the points listed in the comic.

It's a small detail, but it's still another way he's been trying to twist this whole situation to make it seem like he, a man in his 30s is the one being harassed by an 18 year old.
