i am beginning to think you basically have to be defective to be a youtuber. the only ones with any humility have tiny channels, and even then you get people like spino or esoteric entity who have sargon-level self-delusion with none of the success.

i said this earlier in the thread but at least sargons ego makes a little sense in that he has hundreds of thousands of viewers. i can see how being listened to and respected by that many people might go to your head. whereas as people like esoteric or sherratt do this for free and still manage to be farthuffers about it

Yeah but when they booted Lauren Southern it was because she was participating in IRL activities they deemed as illegal. She was on a boat trying to physically turn away migrants if I recall. That is anything but middle of the road.

I'm 100% convinced that he does this on purpose. I remember one time when he was dissecting a version of the "that's not my wallet" meme with Patrick and Manray, he repeatedly referred to Patrick as "the pink thing" throughout. There is absolutely no way that someone living in the English speaking world doesn't recognize one of the most famous SpongeBob characters, even if he didn't have a kid. I think he's just the type of person who likes to play dumb so that he can pretend as if he's too cool for lame old pop culture, unlike those simplistic plebs.

I thought I remembered him promoting a new free speech supporting patron service a few months ago, and said that he intended to switch over once he had verified that they were viable. I guess that that didn't happen because switching platforms when he already has a large userbase is easier said than done, but if patreon ever caves to SJWs there should be alternatives.
