That logic is absurd, anyway. Hey, here's a dumb statement using that exact same logic that you would throw you into a moral outrage.

My dad's a mortician, and he remembers having to do the funeral for a toddler who was beaten to death by its own mother. They brought her to the funeral in shackles (I guess to make her feel guilty)

That's not what that said. It was describing the family structure, not the perp. The perp was probably the guy the whore of a mom was banging, so it sort of indirectly does prove your point, but it probably wasn't the mother who did it most of the time. She just let the creep who actually did it have access.

The point is valid, but it isn't the one you wanted to make, possibly. Certain family structures have better outcomes for children raised in them. The so-called "nuclear family" is, in fact, very likely to raise children who turn out well, or at least alive.

Maybe people shouldn't be shamed for being single parents or whatever, but if they want their kids to turn out well, they'll get married to someone.

I don't know if that's necessarily the answer, though -- or worse, staying married "for the sake of the child." Most people I've talked to whose parents did that say they wished their parents would've divorced.

You're probably better OFF in a two-parent household, in theory, but of course, that depends on what said parents are like. There's a lot of factors that go into it.

There are obvious exceptions, like that, or getting married to Ted Bundy, but a stable family structure is the single factor that nearly by itself vastly increases the chance of a good outcome.

I've seen in both spanish and portuguese people using X to try to be gender neutral since some words have only masculine and feminine forms.
