Can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves. These are his actual fans telling him exactly what they want and he shoots them down. This would actually be an awesome time to watch detractor videos. He's constantly saying that these are all out of context. He could systematically destroy these videos one by one then...or he would if what he said were true.

If Phil needs money now would be a good time to sell his statues. Marvel related collectibles have gone way up in value. His She Hulk statue is one of his more expensive and non broken statues. Maybe he's just too scared to go to an actual pawn shop.

People have been giving him suggestions for awhile in how to slowly resolve his money problems but as the way phil is, he's fucking stubborn.

I’m sorry but having people pay him to watch his own videos is the laziest fucking reward I have ever heard. He is flat out of ideas and this is the best he could come up with. It’s low effort shit, that doesn’t cost him a thing since he wouldn’t have to buy a game. Any fan dumb enough to want this does not deserve their money.

That's just it though - I think he is intentionally playing the Youtube game wrong because it gives him an excuse. As long as it keeps failing, he can keep whining about how hard his life is and in turn can keep convincing his idiot fans into giving him more money. That's why he keeps ignoring people like Nich, even when their advice would literally result in less work for Phil.

He definitely can continue to blame the hardships of his life by living as he does. I don't think it's exactly intentional. He lives the way he does because he has no reason to change. His gets money regardless.

I lean towards Phil being a sociopath. One of the characteristics of a sociopath is an inability to change such destructive behaviour - the only motivator for change that works is money.

He really never had any. Any special event he has done has been proffered by his fans. He is completely without any imagination. . .which is amazing given how easy it is to look around YouTube and be inspired. EDIT: Anyone else watching notice how Phil seems to always walk to the center when the opponent is about to serve? Does this mongoloid not understand that the serve has to hit the opposite corner of the inner court or else it's out? And if that's not bad enough, the game gives you this pretty much fool-proof method of firing off a fast ball into an unguarded spot on the court, and he always wastes it on trying to break the opponent's racket, because as always, he brute-forces every game he plays instead of even attempting any damn finesse.

Phil searches for all kinds of excuses to not change anything. For him a change would have no improvement, only shill people would change, the change is meaningless for a real gamer, the change is just an idiotic trend. Then a week later he changes and behaves like this was all his idea and this is the new status quo for real gamers like him.

The new excuse why he uses no greenscreen is: It wouldn't fit in his setup (then change the stupid setup), the lighting is too bad (again, change the stupid setup) and everybody who uses the greenscreen jumps on a bandwagon.
Except not seeing this pisspoor room would be an improvement on looking more professional, but this can't be an improvement! Nooo. It's lazyness. I feel so cool for using a greenscreen, I hope PewDiePie mentions me! I totally don't use a greenscreen because everybody discovered how this changes the stream to the more positive and the audience likes it, no no no, totally not because of this.

He can't change that because - here is his explanation - he has a small channel and therefore a business decision needs to be made that not everyone will like, which is telling people how to give him the shekels. Noooo. This guy is completely incapable of understanding that this exact begging is the reason people are turned off and see him as a greedy beggar. People are not on Twitch to watch a business guy do business things, they want to see a gamer who plays a game. They want a positive experience which is positive because it's good, not because a fat greedy business man says it's positive. Maybe they, uhm, want to have fun on this platform where people have fun with videogames? He can't grasp the possibility people would just donate on their own free will if they like him.

All this guy wants is the money from mindless drones. The more the better. This guy doesn't care for the human part of his audience in the slightest. Because the audience is not him. Phil cares about Phil. Fuck all people who are not Phil Burnell, it's their fault for not being him. Seto Kaiba is more moderate than him.
