I'm not sure Wu ever actually tweeted about that except in its defence.

It was part of her original platform though, and roundly mocked in this article in The Ringer.

You have to be kind to Wu here as he's never ever been held responsible for anything in his life so he the concept of accepting consequence is alien to him.

(1) Someone politely disagrees with a woman's freaking opinion online. Woman turns into berserk asshole on Twitter. Woman gets fired for her grossly unprofessional behavior. John starts raving about berserk asshole being fired for standing up to mansplaining.
