It's where the "Crazy J" moniker in my post came from. Anywho, thanks to @AnOminous for resharing that little piece of Wu history. The UMiss forum posts were helpful in finding Brianna's deadname.

Seriously, repeating a completely unsourced bare assertion from twitter without making the first move to even talk to the person making the claim to get their factual basis for it.

It's this sort of shit that enables grifting slime like Wu to operate. She gets a toehold in the media with lazy fucks like this one, and leverages it to coverage with more "respectable" journalists because if it's been printed one place then it must be a fact, or at least it's legally defensible as not their fault if push comes to shove.

That's how we've come to the point where Wu, who probably can't set the clock on a VCR, is routinely described as a software engineer and cybersecurity expert in the New York Times.
