This has been covered in other threads, but if you don't know the history a Twitter account called mombot set up a sting operation targeting Izzy Galvez, Matt Myers, and other lolcows, with the objective being to get them to prove how hypocritical they were by falling into the honeypot and getting exposed as would-be doxers. When Rob Marmolejo was outed as a sexual predator in early August of 2016, mombot wrote an article about it and a member of Zoe Quinn's secret chat group gave mombot some logs to prove Marmolejo was part of Crash Override Network, which had been born out of the chat group (more of these logs were eventually released and they led to the doxing of Jake Alley aka secretgamergrrl, among other things). With attacks increasing after mombot's article on Mamolejo, they kicked off the sting and fed the lolcows the fake profiles they had spent the past months building up, all the lolcows fell for it and they ended up looking like jackasses when mombot and her partner exposed the ruse. https://medium.com/@mombot/zachatta...assment-advocates-into-doxing-me-4d9f055e2738
