Not sure how tightly together, but regardless, real life emergencies offer payment plans as well.

I don't know if his strange beliefs classify as true delusions though - I guess that's where I'm coming from.
They are delusions in a sense (magical thought is a delusion), but I think maybe in this circumstance they could be related to a cycle of circumstances - his autism, his isolation, the world he's built himself as a coping mechanism.

There's been clinically found to be overlap between Autism spectrum + schizophernia - there have been limited studies on it and it hasn't been agreed upon, but it has a lot to do with where does "magical thinking" end and true psychosis/true delusions begin. Even in that, the magical thinking overlap even includes belief that it's not fantasy, due to isolation issues in people with ASD. I guess that's where I'm coming from on this. Even regular people who are just very easily lead, are lead into beliefs of magical thinking where they truly believe in the magical thoughts (look at some religious people etc).
