Brianna Wu / John Walker Flynt - "Biggest Victim of Gamergate," Failed Game Developer, Failed Congressional Candidate

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
The only advantage to the lower deck behind-home-plate seats is that you have a higher chance of being seen on TV (for the half-dozen people who watch regular season baseball on TV, or I guess for a split-second on Sportscenter maybe), which would definitely explain why Brianna shelled out for them.

Too bad in your eyes any battle that may get you one second-glance on twitter is one you will fight to the death.

And do we even need to mention Gamergate? I know you "fought the alt-right and won"... but did that battle really need fighting? It wasn't even about you, you just took it over to shill your shitty failed game. And hell, you "won" a ton of undeserved attention. So if fighting literally every battle and hoping one sticks is your strategy, what is a battle that "doesn't matter?"

"It’s better to do one thing well than ten things badly."

First paragraph of Galactichunter webpage on bootleg Star Wars action figures.

Plagiarist John strikes again.

You'd think that, as a candidate for the House of Representatives, he might lift the occasional quote from Democracy in America or The Federalist Papers.

Or plagiarize Neil Kinnock like Joe Biden.

And yet you do nothing well and never will. Your life is one fuckup after another, John.

And the SJWs come out of the woodwork, one by one, to signal their glorious virtues.

Have an opinion on EVERYTHING and tell EVERYONE how to live, because otherwise people might think you're a bad boogeyman.

Of course the center is attractive, because you get make everybody happy and upset nobody and stand for nothing! That's center by definition.

But I bet Wu likes this because haha center isn't left! Moron.

In a just world Wu and Bruni would be forced to debate each other in perpetuity. They are both cows, although Bruni has the veneer of respectability (outside Twitter) that Wu craves.

In a "just" world, monsters like Wu would not be allowed to survive, let alone prosper, like she does.
But the world's not just. Life isn't fair.
The world needs kiwi farmers to try to fight back against these weeds and limit their damage to legitimate crops and such and much as possible.

Wu's "bot count" is in. She brags about this.... but doesn't she call literally EVERY person who disagrees with her a bot? So, if only 200 of those followers are bots... doesn't this actually HURT her case?

Where's he getting 200? His mythical "volunteer analytics team?"

(I mean, it's far from terrible, but it ain't just 200)

I did notice her follower count dropped by 200. There was some really high profile twitter bot purge happening. I'm sure it was conservative and only targeted one kind of bot... the kind that wouldn't have much interest in spamming on Wu. Most likely spamming @realDonaldTrump and voting up their cuck art.

Speaking of that:

Dude's like Elon Musk and his unnecessary and unwanted rescue submarine except Wu's team of engineers is imaginary.

Yeah, which reminds me -- what the fuck is he talking about when he waxes lyrical about "we" and "our analytics?" Is he just Ambien-hallucinating a whole roomful of computer geeks going over spreadsheets?

I suppose it could be real, but it's unlikely given that it's Wu. This was always Randi Harper's deal, that she was performing some secret behind the scenes twitter analytics. A bit more plausibly in her case because, though she writes fucking terrible code, she at least can write code. It seems unlikely that Wu was duplicating the effort, at least before she got thrown out of the inner circle for being more of a dick that even that particularly dickish clique was willing to roll with.

Really I think it's just the case that Wu has a narrative to push and she's pulling a supporting authority to appeal to out of her arse. A brief review of the latest tweets shows a bunch of people expressing their opinions about what happened, most negative, some insulting. The worst I saw was someone who tweeted "please die lol", which I don't think you could interpret as a threat. There were a handful of new accounts, but most looked like real people to my admittedly not very scientific survey.

You'd have to wonder if what Wu is saying it true, what would be the point? Presumably to gain influence for a point of view you have to have an audience. Tweeting "fuck you" at someone from a bot account with no real followers doesn't seem like it achieves any worthwhile goal.

This sounds like important and totally normal behaviour.

I can't believe John is comparing anything to Gamergate. I thought Gamergate was the worst thing possible anyone could suffer though but because she is such a strong True and Honest woman she fought the alt-right and won!

How could any other petty drama compare to Godziwwa of Tech's biggest claim-to-fame? Why is John downplaying his own struggle?
