I don't understand how she gets invited to do things with legitimate politicians running legitimate campaigns. She does nothing except post stupid stuff on Twitter and still gets invited to panels. The other two candidates at this are running serious campaigns.

It should be a clue that she doesn't even have a head shot.
Pumping the narrative is all that matters to some people. Ask yourself why she received more media coverage than Ocasio-Cortez before she won her primary.
Brianna is an untalented hack who has provided negative value to everything she touches. But one thing she is good at (as well as Frank) is figuring out what the narrative these groups/media outlets want to use and building a persona around it. That's why she created the "woman in tech" who was "harassed so much she had to flee her home for safety". She decided to run for office when the narrative turned to "women who are running for political office". If next year the narrative turns to women working in the lumber industry, she'll have a flannel on and talk about how she gave up her career in tech and politics to become a lumberjack.
For media outlets, they don't really care if she's the real deal. They likely know she's a con artist. But they have a story to tell and it's much easier to use her than to find someone who actually has those qualities that is willing to give their time to be interviewed.
For groups like "She Geeks Out", they don't care either. They're set up to give cover to big companies (and make some money for themselves). For whatever the cost is, your company can be a "sponsor" of She Geeks Out and buy yourself a little goodwill.
Just look at their sponsor list. OKCupid is one of the biggest cesspools of all the dating sites. The company had to do a giant public relations blitz last year because women were fleeing the site in droves due to harassment. GoDaddy's marketing consisted of women stripping.
