He's completely ignoring the reveal that one of the main characters in FranXX is a lesbian (or possibly bi) and it hasn't been treated as a bad thing so far. The character she came out to was accepting of it. It isn't purely about heterosexuality, it's about children going through puberty in a world where such things are normally controlled and suppressed.

I really want Steins Gate 0 to be one of the best anime this year now purely because it will drive Jacob insane when people praise it to him. He'll be seething.

I have a history with Zac.

Zac Bertschy is a worthless piece of trash, a wannabee film critic who was born about 40 years too late to make a middle-class income clacking at a typewriter for a newspaper. He has a worthless degree (Associates in Asian culture or something close to that) and is stuck at ANN making just enough money to live in a shitty apartment in Glendale and buy bugman toys for himself and his live-in transcreature. He's also, short, ugly, and 38 years old. Previously he was also a depressed morbidly obese alcoholic who suffered a coronary in 2014 and had to radically change his diet. He mentioned once that prior to meeting Hope his only "romantic conquest" was a long-term relationship with a single mother. I'm willing to bet he was a virgin at the time and he stays with Hope because he knows the alternative is to basically die alone. I despise the man and hope he drops dead.

Huh. Reading all this has been a huge eye-opener. I really enjoyed Jacob's work as JesuOtaku and thought he seemed like a nice, down-to-earth kind of person. Shows how wrong I was.

I suppose this puts a new perspective on Jacob defending Zoe Quinn during Gamergate too. LOL, of course he defended her - Jacob is basically a tranny version of Quinn.

I found a complaint thread on Twitter about the panel, which apparently was more about life/sob stories rather than anime, and Jacob himself. Looks like he's apart of a game/Kickstarter scam with slower production than YandereDev.

Lonely Little Thieves, I believe it's called. Jacob announced the Kickstarter around the time they left Channel Awesome. Is it still not out yet?
