Reddit. That place that had Ellen K Pao, a female CEO (who later decided she wanted to fire all incels that work in tech for some reason). I can't tell if SJWs would support that or not.. probably because she was a woman who identified as a woman. But she was kind of a minority (asian). Nope. Still can't figure it out. I visit ONE specific subreddit on the regular which has no imageboard / webforum equivalent (well there is one but it's shitty and slow). So, can I get my Swastica stamp at the next secret Gamergate meeting?

I really can't get over the fact that Wu gets so much of a platform. I, personally, know many woman engineers who are worth giving that much attention because of their awesome work. The "problem", of course, is that they don't have time to sperg on Twitter 24/7 because they have jobs, families and outside interests.

This lazy shit is probably only thing that makes me go a-log for Wu, but really it's the state of the media.

This is not related to TDD at all. I guess in Wu's mind TDD = good QA, no TDD = bad QA.
If she actually knew shit about programming, she might have preached about strong typing and proper warnings instead.

I agree. What the fuck does test driven development have to do with a "one letter typo." Was that a syntax error (wouldn't compile)? It's a big name franchise game so it can't possibly be written in like javascript or anything.

It's just... you obviously weren't testing whatever function that was.

Brianna, if you're reading this:

Test driven development is the stupid practice where you write your unit tests / acceptance tests first, and then write code until they pass. It's stupid because you are calling all the yet undefined interfaces, which forces you to half-ass some UML and constantly redesign your application.

Sane people design a basic layout of pieces, if there are multiple people maybe they each work for a bit on their parts, when things start to come together they provide an "interface expectation" that the other teams can then stub-out the call (to just return test data so they can keep developing). When you've got the basic framework down to a demoable state, you start to write tests.

This is especially important in real world development where requirements from the customer can change every damn day during the development cycle. That's why TDD DOESN'T WORK in the real world. Of course you have zero, zip, zilch real-world experience.

Was Revolution 60 written with "Test driven development?" Was that why it was years behind and total shit? Nah, if you had tests at all the final boss would have been beatable.


I guess "godzilla of female tech" really does fit with Brianna Wu. Nobody likes her and she totally destroys everything she touches. She's so ugly women scream and faint when they see her, men die in vain trying to stop the unchecked destruction. Also, she constantly wrecks cars with her oversized monster feet and harms poor small innocent animals, like dogs.

Is there another lolcow out there that calls himself "The King-Kong of Tech?" Maybe we can pit them against eachother and while they are fighting, we can nuke them both back into the Pacific ocean.
