How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Should I listen to the guy who actually worked on the movie, or the hater who didn't?

I also saw it with a large crowd. No one reacted.

I have family members who dreamed of shooting Trump and walking out to mass applause. I'm pretty sure TDS is a thing.

Is he!? *Cleans glasses once more* Yep, he did. How in fuck's sake does that have to do with the Avengers?!

You gotta remember: Bob is pretty fucking stupid. His obese manlet rage makes it hard to think about things besides how evil Drumpf is, and anything he says about movies is just him having a REE while slamming his fat head into his keyboard, before weeping himself to sleep.

Tbh, the tankies trashing him are pieces of shit too, but this is sort of like that scene in Zombie movies where the zombies surround and eat the bad guy - for once you actually feel slightly relieved.

It looks like he equates the first Avengers movie with 9/11 even though civilians seem to be mildly inconvenient by the alien attack. While MOS and BvS seem to invoke the imagery of 9/11 more so than Avengers.

Among all the other reasons, I'm hating 9/11 for having to be brought up every damn time something in a movie involves a city. It's like watching people talk about how titanic is evocative of Pearl Harbor.

The sad thing is 9/11 really did change the way big urban disasters are portrayed in movies -- mostly those huge plumes of smoke. Buildings of that size had never been destroyed by violence, that I can immediately recall, and those clouds of debris were something we were very unused to seeing over a city during peacetime. Staring around 2004 or so, they changed the visual language of how such things are depicted -- Revenge of the Sith was the first time I noticed it, and the parallel was immediately obvious.

Of course, filmmakers being cheap storytellers, they generally appropriate the visuals of it without imparting any of the meaning associated with it, which makes the comparisons all the more galling, and of course stupid enough to be right up Bob's alley.

A robo-painter is nice. A robo-critic on the other hand would have me laughing to death.
Hey I'm standing right here!

Anyone here see that bot which could generate sjw tumblrs? A bob auto twitter would be comparatively easier. Anybody want to help me make it?

I don't typically agree with Tankies but they do hit the nail on the head with pointing out things like Bob's obession with corporations over the workers and other neolib crap.

Of course, anyone can point out the issue with Bob's dumb ideas that countries shouldn't care about citizens and chase some World Government dream that would require conquests. He can't even support a basic thing society was founded on, protecting it's citizens.

Strange, I could say the same thing about you and GoogleGage.

Speaking of, just like Bob's moments of "patriotism" contradicting his dream Superior Future, I still don't get his thing with Google. He says/pretends he's an experienced expert in everything he jumps in but he also says being knowledgeable in storytelling doesn't matter as "it ain't real!"

What's the point in doing both since he's saying his own (faked) knowledge is worthless? How would he or at least people who follow him begin to rationalize this? Even assuming they don't find it fishy Bob is always claiming to have deep history with anything he decides to jump on.

Basically Bob like all ideologues will do all the mental gymnastics they need to in order for their ideas to "work" even though you need the most flexible sense of reality to allow Bob's "Superior Future" to make sense and not end up being the deaths of untold millions.
