During the "mrstupid1" debacle, I think it came out that his utility bills were like $150-200 / month. That would make sense as Washington has a shitload of cheap hydroelectric power. But that's offset by things like his $300-400 internet bill and another, what, $100 in streaming services (hulu, netflix, the WW(RE)E one, PS Vue, and whatever else)? Might be time to do another monthly expenditures totaling.

Guess it shouldn't be surprising that Phil willfully (or, perhaps, ignorantly) misrepresents 1-2 million VIEWS as unique viewers. He also ignores the plain fact that the vast majority of his views go to videos more than a month old. As he himself noted, a significant chunk of his Youtube income was passive money from old videos. Now that DSPGaming is up shit creek (at least for now), he's feeling the hurt b/c his current videos don't attract shit.

Edit: And for double the laughs, Phil's PAYMETONS plea has generated some interest. To the tune of 6 new patrons and a whopping $20 more in pledges. He's well on his way, boys!

I know we're thinking that Phil is done for this time financially speaking, but I highly doubt it. He's always loved to play that money drama up for pitybux and probably has Kat's income giving him a boost. Iirc we don't even know what Kat's job is, maybe it's a basic minimum wage job, but it could be something good enough to keep them both comfortable. Maybe it hasn't been that long but it feels like he's been having EMERGENCY streams so many times I just don't even believe that he's ever remotely in trouble.

I can see where you are coming from, but this feels different. Phil loves to throw around his 10-year legacy on Youtube as some gold standard of life achievements, but now he's threatening to throw it away behind a Patreon paywall. Yes, he could very well pigroach his way out of this whole mess again like he usually does, but I feel this act of desperation is extremely telling of genuine fear.

Counterpoint: She may not like much at all, but even if his money does dry up, she'll still have hers. She might have no where else good to go, so she becomes the breadwinner and Phil lets her stay in the house. Even if you have to have Phil as a roommate, he's got such a static, sedentary lifestyle it wouldn't amount to much. Kat can (and might already) have a life outside of Phil's orbit completely. If Kat is a little smart about it, she could do pretty much whatever she wanted as long as it didn't interfere with Phil's...activities, for lack of a better term.

The nerve of this entitled cunt to tell his already-fleeing audience he’s going to “LAY DOWN THE LAW” if they don’t pony up more of their paychecks to finance his peter pan lifestyle. I know we’ve come to this precipice many times before only to see Phil pigroach his way out of it, but something about this time feels different: 40% of his income in the toilet, critical mass of detractors calling him on his hypocrisy and warning potential sponsors not to do business with him, and now he’s antagonizing his fans even more than he usually does. Moments like this REEEmergency Vlog are all you need to see he’s having a total meltdown and losing his mind. Now he’s going to become more desperate than ever and start fucking up in ways that are impressive even considering his high standards for exceptional behavior. No doubt that his brainless paypigs will stick by him no matter how much he spits in their faces while fondling their wallets, but all it takes is losing Twitch and he’s done for. They seem to always overlook the really egregious behavior and bring the hammer down on seemingly trivial matters, but with the frequency and intensity of gin-fueled rants and petulant shit talking we’ve seen these last few weeks, I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets another suspension or two before the end of the year. And any of those could be the final straw for him. He’s a pigroach, certainly, but right now he’s hanging by a thread and doing everything he can to break it.

he knew this was coming, and he knew his Adsense was bogus. he even admitted to scouring the internet for tips on how to bypass/trick the Adsense registry for his Channel last year. He is nowhere near as militant toward YouTube as he has been in the past, and I believe it is because he knew this was going to happen if his Channel were to ever be dropped... he will go to the grave blaming YouTube, but for the first time in what little time I've been following, he looks defeted. Defeted phil is easily provoked, sidetracked, and manipulated against his best interests, and even he knows that doesn't bode well for a full time twitch streamer.

Funny enough, this confirms that Phil has been making around $100,000 per year. He's been pulling in at least $4500+ on Twitch (that we can see). Divide that by 0.6 (since Twitch is 60% of his monthly income) and you get $7500 per month (on the low end, imo). Multiply that by 12 months and you get a minimum of $90,000 pre-tax.

Agreed definitely seeing how panicked he is.

I disagree with you on this one this one is different remember that 40k tithed Phil's taxes and monthly expenditures. He was caught in a trap with this one and he bitten that hand that feeds. We know from previous statements Khat's money is hers which makes me feel she has a back up plan on this one. I honestly think she has been playing dumb which when this shit blows up will make Leanne break up like scooby doo because she could essentially decimate Phil because she has the T on his expenditures like Leanne did but even more so. He will wish he fucked Kim because Kat is going to wreck him financially. As for his expenses he needs to budget now because his mortgages will destroy him monthly.

As for Phil's expenses we know the following;
Hulu
Netflix, Internet business rate with comcast, insurance, car leases? electricity bill probs like $200 a month car fuel, he buys the paperviews btw, food he shops fancy and drinks Aquafina. I can easily see him paying 1k a month easy shit isn't his internet $400 a month? He is paying credit cards on top of this. This I actually believe, his mortgages are about 4k a month

this alone is easily 5.5k come September Youtube is gone as I think he is going to throw a strop and bail from YT out of sheer stubbornness. In this 5.5k we have not applied his tax owing either. Essentially he will start bleeding come August.

I get being angry but i've turned the corner with this latest story arc. Someone mentioned this was almost like that parody screen cap of Phil putting out a video saying his patrons need to get second jobs and it kinda is. Phil was boring the hell out of me for awhile, but when you get to watch him give away the microscopic pieces he has left of his dignity man that sucks me right back in.

Phil's "career" is less like a house of cards and more like a Jenga game. Everytime a piece is moved it applies more pressure threatening to bring the whole thing down. Slowly pulling out the Dspgaming block is making that tower wobble like crazy. It may not fall, the piece might be pushed back into place, but watching Phil white knuckle the table praying the game continues is good stuff.

I made this comment a month ago about Phil's financial motivation and Game Theory



This comes back to his belief that money to be made is offered to him as an equal, to be split evenly between him and Youtube.



I don't think he could up the ads if he wanted to.

His last No Man's Sky video has 6 ads within 45 minutes - about 1 ad every 7.5 minutes. He had 10 minute videos on DSPGaming with one at the beginning and at the end.

With longer videos, ads have to be placed where the viewers will most likely be watching, which is near the beginning. He can no longer bookend his videos like he used to. He has more within 10 minutes, but they're kept up front. So I think it works out to about the same.

Holy crap, that screenshot is just gross. I feel slimy. Well, he’d better hope that the viewers don’t click around as much as he always says they do. 6 ads in 45 minutes. Sadly, this doesn’t shock me.
