I know we're thinking that Phil is done for this time financially speaking, but I highly doubt it. He's always loved to play that money drama up for pitybux and probably has Kat's income giving him a boost. Iirc we don't even know what Kat's job is, maybe it's a basic minimum wage job, but it could be something good enough to keep them both comfortable. Maybe it hasn't been that long but it feels like he's been having EMERGENCY streams so many times I just don't even believe that he's ever remotely in trouble.

We've been here before more times than I care to count and he's always managed to skitter away at the last possible second. I'd guess this isn't the END and he still has some mileage left to sink even further. Even if you don't think he's stashed some cash his twitch alone is still enough for a comfortable middle class life. If YT does not pan out my guess is he'll shift into hardcore shill mode next. He's not giving this up without a fight. What? You still think you've seen Phil as pathetic and desperate as he can get?

One thing I don't think has clicked in Phil's tiny little mind yet is that one reason some people choose to stay on Youtube and watch him is because you're pretty much forced to give money to Phil if you're an actual fan and watch him on stream.

What I mean by this is how many times have we seen fans sperging out over the amounts of money they've donated, and essentially having dick-measuring contests to prove their loyalty?

Time zones are an issue, but some people just don't have the money to give, especially to ungrateful piggies. And asking them to "step up" or by using how long they may have been a fan against them by implying that they owe you something because they might never have directly given you money? Yeah. I'm also surprised this line didn't make the community explode with videos about it. I think if you put all the runtime of the videos relating to the Machinima/Youtube saga and everytime he talked about his taxes on pre-streams and vLogs the count goes past the 12 hour mark for each saga. Ironically, it does sound like he was overexaggerating but it also makes me dread and curious as to what a REAL EMERGENCY means in the DSPhere.

The cherry on top? These longer videos are making more views than the ones in DSPGaming. IT's probably because his KOGaming had more 'active' subs than DSPGaming, since those videos where better than ANYTHING you could find in DSPgaming.

His return to NMS is classic Phil. Decides to pick Normal, despite accidentally realizing that there's stuff added to the game that might not be in the ORIGINAL gameplay grind. At the end complains that it's the exact same game. . . forgetting that it told him that right from the beginning with the mode he picked. "Don't believe the hype!" he says flailing his arms about, completely oblivious that people might be more hyped about the things added to the game that he didn't bother to explore.

. . . however let's be honest. Phil does not have the creativity to make a survival game like NMS (or Subnautica) enjoyable. There's no giant waypoint market telling him where to go and providing an easy narrative beat to bounce commentary off of. Of course it's the games fault that his steam chat is bored. It's the games fault that instead of trying a challenge, like "How far can we go in permadeath mode," he puts his brain on autopilot and "wastes" four hours playing a game that stumped him the first go 'round.

Assuming Graphtreon is accurate, before the video he had 136 paypigs giving him $729 (see pic below). So he picked up 16 new paypigs that are giving him $133 dollars. If Phil really is done with YouTube and he won't be getting the $10 from KOG every day, this means that Phil replaced ~$300 per month for ~$130. I expect him to get more paypigs on the paymetons, but this doesn't seem like it's going to work out the way he expects. Remember, in the pre-stream rant he said that even HALF of the 1,000 "viewers" he supposedly has giving him somewhere between DOUBLE ($1,600) and TRIPLE ($2,400) the amount he had before would be enough to cover him. It'll be interesting to see how much it's at in a week or so - I think it gets as high as $1,100. He won't have much of a choice but to come back to YT, content with having extorted a few hundred bucks extra from his fans but still complaining it's not enough.

Phil's chat is completely repellent in general. It's under mob rule by the same four or five paypigs who are so paranoid about detractors that they don't trust anybody they don't recognise, and constantly drive off potential new fans or genuine Phil fans who are checking out a stream for the first time. Put that on top of the general racism, misogyny and really fucking creepy roleplay they get up to and it's no surprise that he's so reliant on gifted subs every month.

Subnautica is one of these games where it's most efficient to already know the game or be guided by someone who knows where to look for specific ressources, upgrades or even for the storyline. The rest is a bit of repetitive grinding. If he ever streams Subnautica I can't imagine the chat won't walkthrough his entire path which would be the most boring shit ever. Let me rephrase that. Theoretically it would be the most boring shit ever, but Phil is the King of Low Bars so there will always be a new lowest score.

On another old hot topic. Phil HAD a plan to keep DSPgaming alive for all eternity by uploading emergency videos and news in the form of "Don't look here, look THERE, but keep DSPgaming subscribed because of the hot news".

I try not to judge him on this, yet. Because he must literally be the only person on this planet with his exceptional problems. So I will just say: Maybe smart business move, maybe autistic, but in the end it doesn't matter because he wants to kill his videos (are these tiny unnecessary videos too much for Philbert?). And why would I stay subscribed to a channel (DSPgaming) which just says what my sub-inbox will state anyway?

Always argued how it's not his fault for spamming so much videos, like people should subscribe to less person, he can't edit the videos together because of money (and no compasion included of course) and now he's fully aware how he killed the inboxes of every poor soul who dared to follow this sack of pig. Just watched the emergency vlog. He acts like uploading the videos for free to DSPgaming is such a hassle. It can't take more than an hour of his day. I think getting rid of uploads to dspgaming and DSP tries it is horrible for his brand (lol I know). Back when he started his patreon in 2015 he was acting like world was ending. Now all of a sudden the world is ending, so what is the true story? I can't wait to see what these "drastic measures" are. Like dude, the min wage in seattle is 15 an hour. Can't he just have Kat work at starbucks for a year to help out? This dude is so retarded. Or just do Twitch during week and work a "real job" during weekend. He has no obligations he can work any hour of day. Stream 12 hours a day who gives a shit, you play video games man.
