Bryce stayed around a lotttt longer than "she" (MtF) should've done, was continuing to buy her gifts and give her money up until last year. But I think she finally gave up on Luna, just like everybody else.
I'm shocked by how much better she looks without makeup. If she could stop doing drugs and drink some water so her lips weren't messed up, she'd be very pretty.

A couple of the recent drawings would almost be okay if it weren't for that fucking TUMBLR NOSE she always insists on drawing, and the general messiness of it all. Some of the color choices are decent, but the amount she asks for them is ridiculous.

Just a guess, I don't know shit about art in the drawing medium. But that'd make sense, she really did seem happier with her deceased ex than she ever has in the pictures near/around Lurch.

There are issues relating to addiction (Mom is a recovering (?) addict and exposed Luna to Matthew in the first place)
Luna thinks her addiction is glamorous and an aesthetic lifestyle choice
Parental/child relationships (Luna claims her mother stole and spent her $1,000,000+ inheritance)
Luna claims her mother was abusive and toxic, whatever that means (she claims that about anyone who does stuff she doesn't like, though, including her father who seems to try hard to have a decent relationship with her)
Uncomplicated:
Mom apparently lives in Section 8 housing and every day Luna and Matthew stay there is another chance of her getting evicted (Luna was supposed to be there for 3 weeks at the most; she has been there over 3 months at this point)
Luna has displaced Mom from her own bedroom and settled in, and Mom is sleeping on the couch
Luna is an active drug user, while Mom is trying to recover
Luna is lazy af and so far as she has recorded is making no effort at all to find a job or get new housing

Basically, they are both mad at each other for what they both perceive as pretty good reasons, and every second they are around each other makes it worse.
Wow, reading this thread has been a depressing ride. This shit is hard to witness from afar, I can't imagine how much it's fucking up anyone in Luna's life who isn't in active addiction. Is there anyone in her life that is sober? The complications that both her mother and father were addicts and she was born addicted don't help either. Also, Lurch isn't helping at all except probably going to cop for them both. Her e-begging schemes are hilariously bad, almost as bad as Amberlynn's diet plans. Although I am sure Luna does get some people to send her cash enough to have that as a source semi reliable income, straight to the dope man.

She doesn’t really have anyone other than Lurch in her life, sober or not. I’m pretty sure
she completely isolated herself from everyone when she met him and started using dope.
Her parents are relatively sober, aside from benzo use iirc. The only other drug users she knows are people from the internet. All her drug connects come from Lurch, probably. I wonder if she’s partly afraid to leave him because of the fact that she’d probably lose a LOT of access to drugs (aside from a fear of being alone). I can’t imagine she’s able to afford anything right now, any heroin she’s getting is coming from him.

Just wanted to clarify, Luna spent most of her inheritance and not her mom. Her Grandma died and left everything in her will to Luna (to be given to her once she turned 18 ), the number fluctuates between 100k and 1,000,000 depending on who you ask. I believe it was somewhere in the middle, with a property that LUNA lost due to not paying taxes on it. Her grandma left it to Luna because she didn't want the money spent on drugs. Her mum stole at most $15,000. Luna was paying rent for her and her mom for about a year, she claims that her mom stole a lot of money when they were living together. She's never detailed what the "stealing" actually entailed or how it happened, so for all we know she sees paying rent for her mum as theft, or her mum scraped some off the top before Luna turned 18 to pay for bills or something.
She's never given any other instances of "abuse" from her mother, and she calls her father abusive when all he does is shout at her for being a waste of space.
All of those fancy hand made clothes, jewellery, and knick-knacks? Luna's inheritance went on Etsy purchases, along with a trip to woodstock and about $100/day's worth of heroin for YEARS. Someone worked it out in 2016:

Seven more days have come and gone, with each rotation of the planet bringing only more reasons to cry.
