2 random minutes with DSP: South Park, The Fractured But Whole DLC
"
@actually , how the hell do I get out of here". Phil has trapped himself in a mine. "I fell through a hole... how do I leave the mine..."
There is a chest Phil has neglected in the middle of a dangerous stream running through the mine. Over top of the chest is a board suspended by two spare pieces of lumber. Someone suggests breaking the board and falling onto the chest. "You can't break wood while you're standing on it," Phil informs the viewer, "Let me show you". Standing atop the rickety board, Phil sees indicators appear over the supporting lumber. "Oh, it's letting me break the wood. It wasn't letting me do it before". Phil breaks the wood and falls to his death.
3-month subscriber ActorMichaelMerchant wins the chat game by having his direction be the one to finally guide Phil to success. Meanwhile, the rest of chat argues if a game that spawned a genre can itself be considered 'bad'.
(Sorry, slow day in the DSPisshole)
One of my motives behind transcribing a few random minutes of Phil's stream antics is to point out that if your bored with updates in the sub-forum, you can simply seek out the information yourself.
I stopped following the Twitter "Detractors" a while ago. They were getting to annoy me with spurious information. Plus I really don't need more Phil-time after catching up with the megathread. Still, it's important to get your sources from multiple places:
https://twitter.com/EddyB43Cynic posted this little oddity yesterday and I haven't seen anyone comment here on it.
Someone named "Manifoldhope" was dealt a permanent ban from Phil's channel after Manifoldhope spammed 7 emotes.
Manifoldhope of course complained on Twitter. Phil responded that the moderation bot timed him out for spamming emotes, and that the ban is temporary. Of course, the message "You are permanently banned" appears when such a thing happens.
You can read more and EddyB's thoughts about it on his Twitter page.
