When he talks about his legacy 2 things stand out - the number of videos and the years he's been making them. In his mind this is huge and it is honestly, not many people can say they have this amount of Yutube "legacy".

But if I put 50,000 1 minute videos, I could match his "proficiency". That doesn't say anything about the quality of the videos. And that's what Phil doesn't get--just shitting out a pile of garbage isn't special. Creating something with some amount of quality is.

Has anyone in any medium used getting a sponsor as some kind of event? Most people know having to read sponsorships or watch commercials are a nuisance to their viewers not a selling point. What good does having a sponsor on Mondays second stream do for anyone except Phil. Even his fans won't get what they tune in to see they get fake Phil putting on a performance just in case someone checks in on him. Shows how much he cares about those keeping him afloat that he will hold in the bitching and snorts for a fraction of the money they've given him.

It's another "I DID IT MA! GET THE CAMERA *SNORT*" moment. He's proving duh haterz wrong, so it doesn't matter what the circumstances are.

Tevin has scheduled a stream on Youtube starting at 9 EDT to mirror Dave's sponsorship stream. If you are going to watch to see what time game that Dave will be playing, please tune in to Tevin's stream so Phil's view count is not artificially inflated which will put extra money in his pockets.

I know there tend to be viewbots in Phil's stream, if he gets caught with any during the shill stream will he get in trouble?

If someone was to do it that's not Phil. Then no he wouldn't get in trouble as it was done outside of his control.

The only way he could get in trouble is if someone manages to get proof that Phil asks people to do this.

Otherwise he wouldn't get in trouble at all, in the form of a suspension/ban. Now if someone was to viewbot him to help with the payout I dont know how this would end up working out. But i doubt seeing it hurting Phil still.

Is there a reason he's doing the sponsored stream so late? Wouldn't he want it on first stream? where he usually gets the most viewers and attention.

I mean, let's face it, Phil will probably fuck up one of the prereqs for getting the money. The program requires a lot of small things to be done by the streamer. Not only that but his chat will be just as toxic as ever and chat gets archived with the stream in real time. My guess is that he didn't do World of Tanks is because it's multiplayer and he cannot hold back the toxicity when engaging with the public lol

Edit: He is doing it late because he thinks that his late streams are his smaller streams and he'd rather do it then instead of during his busy streams. I believe he said he would move it to an earlier time if it were successful.

He's doing that on purpose in case it's a failure. One of his fans actually asked him that before his Madden stream last night.

Why does this just reek of him intentionally setting it up for failure just so he can use it to guilt-trip more money from his paypigs?

Sounds like the other way around: It will be a failure if he swaps gaming times, because less viewers. Or maybe it will be a failure so it be better if less people see it? And isn't the goal of a sponsorship to let as many people as possible watch it?

Or is Phil's thought process the following which I could understand: Because ppl voted "No we won't watch a shill stream", if he starts with a well received game, many ppl will stay to watch the follow up.
I mean this would make sense, I guess.

But honestly, even if ppl said NUH, who will really want to miss that? I bet a lot of detractors voted it negatively.

...His refusal to even pretend to care or understand or improve was inpressive. He just kept getting saltier and saltier while contimuing to do the same things that weren't working....
This sums up Phil's entire career, especially as someone with an "Achieving Competitive Excellence" training certification.

Because he's a control freak who has to adhere to a strict schedule and he spergs out if he goes one minute past his stream time because now its lunch time for exactly one hour or whatever.

I don't think this bounty stream is gonna be too interesting. In twitch TOS, you can be negative about the game as long as you aren't just shitting all over it. So Phil is gonna be super sanitized and will be in "gamer critique" mode.

I don't have high hopes, unless the game is something that Phil is absolute garbage at playing. I mean complete garbage. That might lead to some drama.

Worse than that, he has to archive the stream so Twitch can verify he actually fulfilled the bounty before he gets paid. He's gonna be full on creepy, snort free, Twitchcon, PR mode Phil because he knows they'll be watching.

Exactly it's a very team-centric game and he can't control the narrative like he loves to do when called out on other games like that Friday the 13th and recently the Black Ops 4 where all he did was lock on to one or two little blurbs the people said, deflect, deny, subert, mock and laugh off, rinse and repeat. No what would have probably happened is he'd be streamsniped, teamkilled or trolled like in his World of Warcraft video. Also there was that tweet someone sent to WG America to not associate with him which could have been a factor.
