Can we put our guesses as to what the game is? My bet, based on Twitter mentions of "sponsored stream" is Runescape. That would also fit with "THIS SHOULD BE INTERESTING" from Phil since it's a wonky looking game that's way off from the usual stuff he plays.

I don’t really care what it is. I feel like Phil has absolutely no fucking self control, and he’s not gonna be able to contain himself. Fingers crossed for a catastrophic failure tonight, I could really use some entertainment and seeing Phil take an L for once would be great.

It matters because the troll hoards need to properly prepare their plan of attack to vanquish this heathen (Sorry been on a Viking binge the last week lol)

Disagree, at least for this first one. Remember that he pulled off the TwitchCon stream for like 4 or 5 hours, going full FakeSydePhil the whole time. You could tell he was pissed with the trolling on that shitty Choice Chamber game, but he didn't flip out. Just sorta acted annoyed and kept trying to get the viewers to choose different things that he wanted.

That is because that wasn't a multiplayer game. If he plays something like WoW where trolls can get right in his face he is going to have a meltdown

It will probably end up being boring FakeSydePhil like at the Twitchcon event/when some rando Twitch person was in his chat. There are a few differences though which may potentially lead to something, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too much. I think the biggest one is him doing it on his second stream, which usually has lower numbers. Someone mentioned before you need to have a certain amount of views for the bounty to count. It wasn't insanely high, but I believe you had to maintain them throughout the whole stream, so if Phil is just quietly pretending to enjoy the game, the view count may dip below the required number for the bounty, which might cause him to drop the fake act to beg for views. It seems like Phil has kind of accepted this might happen based on his tweets though, which seems to be his "logic" for making it the second stream, but eh, he has a giant ego, but you never know.

I'm kind of curious to see if chat ends up being a wild card. I have no idea how the bounty system works, but someone mentioned you have to send the archived replay, with chat included. I'm sure they have some system in place for generic trolls and what not, but Phil's chat can get pretty toxic.

Yeah, here's hoping Sydella goes off on one of his toxic tirades LOL

Exactly it's a very team-centric game and he can't control the narrative like he loves to do when called out on other games like that Friday the 13th and recently the Black Ops 4 where all he did was lock on to one or two little blurbs the people said, deflect, deny, subert, mock and laugh off, rinse and repeat. No what would have probably happened is he'd be streamsniped, teamkilled or trolled like in his World of Warcraft video. Also there was that tweet someone sent to WG America to not associate with him which could have been a factor.
Yeah. He completely took off when the guy said that he sucks. It seemed he didn't even know who Phil was but Phil nervously laughed and quit the game as fast as he could. He never talks to teammates so playing a game like that, where it matters, won't work in his favor.

I don't know about runescape. I haven't played in in ages but I could see him being trolled EASILY in that game. It'll be WoW all over again.

Phil is saying that people won't make designs for him a few minutes ago. Well he was able to laugh the jerk off situation so I spent thousands of hours in photoshop to create a design for sale. Hell, he can take the design.

Folks in his chat were asking why Dave's big 'First ever Sponsored Stream' was being done 2nd stream and not first if number ov stream viewers was a consideration. Dave informed them that he's doing it on the 2nd stream because he can play the game for two hours ( thought he's only required to play it for one hour ) on the 2nd stream. He elaborated that he would have to stop the stream to play another game after the sponsored game's time allotment is up if he were to do this on the first stream. Changing games during a stream is apparently to much trouble.

I actually understand that excuse. What he means is that if he does a stream after he would have to cut the stream. Archive it, makes sure that the next half of the stream doesn't get archived. Change the stream name. Probably do a prestream, because he isn't going to of that on a sponsored stream with the potential for trollage. Is that a lot of work? No, but for Phil it is way too much to manage.

No matter how often I read that, I fail to discover the argument. Why does he need to stop the stream to change a game? He don't need to. Stop game, change stream title, start another game. And why is it a hassle to restart a stream which takes around 5 seconds?

I don't understand and somehow I feel stupid for not getting it!

This better not be porn.

That’s more like it.

Two words: minimum effort. What you’re describing sounds like way too much effort for our hero. Why do all that when he can just stop the stream, open a gin bottle, and vegetate in front of Netflix or wrastlin’?

Phil still refusing to mention what game it is he's shilling because of those damn detractors.

I don't think it's even crossed his mind that people could get in touch with the devs WHILE he's streaming.

Not only that but it just makes it seem like it was the actual detractors fault his last stream failed instead of his "bug email mechanics".

Or in the case of a multi-player game, the detractors could, you know, simply start the game if they already own it during the stream, to troll him. Does he think all these high level WoW players with exotic spells, armor and vehicles bought the game just a week ago?

In this case I don't think Pigroach was fully wrong given how compulsive his hatebase can be on reporting stuff.

Still, this reeks of him intentionally setting up for failure, either to get more money from the speds he's indoctrinated into the Pigcult or due to fear of getting demolished in a multiplayer game that he knows people will know.
