I'll answer your question, it's for the exact same reason some people tried to bombard BronyCon with fake harassment complaints to get Chris Chan kicked out: They're A-Logs who are too autistic and too consumed with destroying the cow to understand how to properly milk them and get good content. Even worse, they want the show to end, which ruins it for everyone else. Why is this happening again? Not seeing why people are ruffled that Dave landed a Twitch bounty.
Why else would anyone who watches a cow try to take down a stream? It can't be boredom, because then you would have the option of walking away and doing something else with your time. And whatever "win" the detractor community will get out of this as a result is entirely worthless, nobody gives a fuck about this game, and the developers freaking out that Dave streamed the game only come off as extreme idiots as well, your game is fucking tumbleweed street with zero streamers and zero buzz, and you want to look a gifthorse in the mouth? Be fucking thankful that someone took on streaming your piece of shit game, and actually took the time to be extra-professional while doing it (FakeSydePhil is boring as shit, but he's professional in an extremely sterile way).
Another note, there are actual halaled people who fucked with content and derailed streams before, so I think people should be prudent enough to consider the precedent very carefully.
To be entirely and brutally honest with you, the reason is autism.I know most of us prefer a hands off approach to the shit show, but let’s not pretend why we don’t know the reason some of these people adamantly work against the guy.
Dave is a cockroach, he will always survive and we all know it, so the whole point of watching him is to see him fuck up on his own, but people are idiots and can't be patient, so they flag every single fucking thing that Phil does, tweet to Twitch Support about his every single move, they make autistic 8 hour podcasts and plan idiotic ops to take him down. All this makes him on edge, and produces more and more of the FakeSydePhil streams that everyone complains about so much.
Right now, Phil is no longer the care-free dude who makes decent-ish money on videos where he fucks up instant ramen or does non-unboxing videos while complaining about alarm sounds. He's in complete survival mode now, and as such, he will be at his most boring and (relatively) mistake-free self, while doing some of the most repetitive begging known to man, until he dies of Monster energy drink overdose in his 40's.
Congrats, you all killed what was once an extremely productive cow.
