I'll answer your question, it's for the exact same reason some people tried to bombard BronyCon with fake harassment complaints to get Chris Chan kicked out: They're A-Logs who are too autistic and too consumed with destroying the cow to understand how to properly milk them and get good content. Even worse, they want the show to end, which ruins it for everyone else.

Why else would anyone who watches a cow try to take down a stream? It can't be boredom, because then you would have the option of walking away and doing something else with your time. And whatever "win" the detractor community will get out of this as a result is entirely worthless, nobody gives a fuck about this game, and the developers freaking out that Dave streamed the game only come off as extreme idiots as well, your game is fucking tumbleweed street with zero streamers and zero buzz, and you want to look a gifthorse in the mouth? Be fucking thankful that someone took on streaming your piece of shit game, and actually took the time to be extra-professional while doing it (FakeSydePhil is boring as shit, but he's professional in an extremely sterile way).

Dave didn't say anything negative about the game at all. When asked his opinion, he said it was an incomplete version and therefore would not give any personal thoughts on the game. When he lost, the AI was 'really smart!' and repeatedly remarked that he was 'bad at this type of game'. What was most likely a glitch ( as agreed upon by members of his stream chat , was said by Dave to have been programming to simulate a player celebrating a victory dance. I will also point out that during the entire sponsored stream, Dave did not snort once and PG-13 censored himself by saying "f 'ing" instead of dropping his usual F-bombs. #Sponsored Stream was LightSydPhil at his most advertiser friendly-est.

Phil's gameplay, and anything he records, is unwatchable because he's a psychopath. He's offensive to the eyes, ears, and intellect. But if you enjoy wanna see a psychopath play video games (in small, homeopathic doses, if you're like me), his recent Madden 19, Silent Hill 2, and Halflife 2 playthroughs were all hallmark DSP moments. :autism: incoming, but I'm gonna have to disagree with what a few other people have said. Phil is kinda unique in that his own content is insanely boring, in order for me (and many others) to enjoy it the content require refinement. I was never a Lets Play fan, I was actually a bit annoyed by the thing back during my Something Awful days, so I never really knew about Phil until TIHYDPs became a thing. Fast forward a bit and the only stuff of Phil's I can tolerate is stuff that's been edited. I've sat in his streams and it's about the worst way I can think of to spend a couple of hours.

Phil doesn't really do anything. He's a tired gamer who has no way out. He constantly harps that if his detractors actually sat and trudged through his content they would be fans. Well, Phil, I've done that and it just confirmed that I need someone to filter out all the slow bits or I'm so bored I want to jump out the window.

Truth be told, I would much rather watch Tevin stream when he's remixing shitty rap music or editing videos. That's interesting and his chat encourages banter.

DSP's actual content has been beyond parody for well over a year now. Even detractors have given up on it. TIHYDPs have been trash since I don't know when. I think there was a Need for Speed one last year that was ok maybe? The best kahntent comes when real life happens and Dave struggles to cope and overshares his life with his audience because he's socially inept and has no one to talk to IRL. Look at him. He's so toxic even game devs turn their nose up at getting dirt-cheap publicity from him. No other streamers want anything to do with him.
