I don't think this belongs here.

The only way that drawing would belong here is if the skin was made darker and given enough features to make it look more like it was made by /pol/ or if the face was made deranged enough to make one wonder if the author thought Inuyasha was better looking as a deranged meth junkie.

Drawing painted nails isn't really the problem (though, shit, I noticed that too). The issue is that these artists put effort into the details that aren't necessary. That artist above had the time to make sure each finger showed the painted nails (which aren't even a part of the character to begin with), but they can't even take the time to fill in the lines or shade. What younger people need to learn about art is that the small details don't matter if it's cluttered by huge issues.

The image doesn't have shading I would argue. It has spots of shading. Like, the artist just decided after they lazily put the base color on, they needed to do something else. But instead of properly taking the time to shade, they just plotted dots with the multiply tool. With the amount of masking tutorials out there, they couldn't even do that? Fill a space? Even the shittiest drawing program has some form of masking. Even MS Paint has a masking technique. What happened here?

if you really think a cute drawing of a warrior guy (that hangs out outside all the time) with a slight tan is worthy of this thread, i think you need to reassess your standards.

If anything, the artist is guilty of making him act very out of character since Inuyasha's main personality trait was being a moody cunt. He wouldn't smile or pose like that in the show.

I think this artist simply don't know how to shade propely. That cheap method of using round shade is something that show how an artist can be ignorant about shading and lighting source. These artists who rush their work only to make a daily drawing on tumblr won't improve.

So, after some digging in the depths of Tumblr. I've discovered that Season 7 of Voltron had driven most of its fans (which mostly consist of fangirls looking for some gay action.) and to even make a 'reboot' that many want to replace the actual show.

And don't worry Kiwis, it's AAAAAAAAAAAALL queer! uwu

But seriously, this is a huge FUCK YOU to the creators.
