Yes complaining that blonarld blumpf got two scoops too many is a very balanced right wing take.

I'm sure this subtweet is directed at us because he saw Wesley get twitter banned again. Wesley RTed it, too.

Don't get it. They break Twitter's rule on how to not be a hateful shitcunt 101, then complain when they get hit with a ban. Imagine how much nicer twitter would be if these spergs put their phones down and went to anger management class

I may not like TERFs but I don't think tweets like "I wanna tear a terf to shreds" or "I'd tear that terf's eyeballs out if she was next to me" some transsexuals so enjoy tweeting is a good idea at all. Of course they're going to report it. Be subtle with your statements.

Breaking the rules is breaking the rules. If you threaten or harass people, you get the ban regardless of your political/social justice beliefs.
When they do it though they see it as doing it "for the cause" and being on the "right side of history". It's why they should feel that the rules should only apply to those they hate.

Pretty sure Bush and the neocons had the exact same mindset.

I didn't like it coming from them, why should I like it coming from so-called leftists?

Because the Leftist think they are the Right Side when in reality, this shit (at least with people like Myers) is just dumb Twitter spats where if you broke a rule, you broke a rule regardless of your politics.

....what the hell is going on in this post?
Just Matt reposting lefty furry talking points about how the fandom was always political, even though it's only been that way since what, maybe 2016ish?

It's just bullshit. Furries have been packed with people with weird politics since forever. Jay Naylor, as a famous popufur asshole, is notoriously right wing. He's far from the only one.

I think if it stopped at "right-wing" and didn't veer off into "the traditional nuclear family is the most important unit of society so fucking your hot sister is A-OK because after all, black people are violent, incestuous hostage takers and dem Jooz are just nerdy mice in the scheme of things," he wouldn't be nearly as notorious.

Well, he wouldn't have been notorious for it if it were normal, at least not until [current year]. Also, early on, there were a fairly high number of ex-military furries, often known for their technically accurate drawings of vehicles and other machinery. Steve Gallacci would be a pretty prominent example of this.

That is not just a lefty furry talking point. It may be more noticeable now to newcomers but it has always existed in some capacity from what I can see. An obvious and fairly old example would be the Burned Furs thing. Fandom discourse has sprung up over divisive topics ever since they first started jacking it to red rockets and cloaca.

The only differences are that their shitfits are about more culturally relevant topics and that they are reaching a much bigger audience because of social media. Twitter has a more robust userbase than their old Usenet hangouts ever did. Even threatening others with physical violence over stupid opinions is old hat to them(again, the obvious example would be Burned Furs <They had a talent for idiocy.. RIP>).

This Myers guy is at least partially correct here, unfortunately, but the claim about the community hating right-wingers is false in general. Otherwise people like Jay Naylor would not have been a thing.

Does somebody make porn or have a fursuit that furries want to fuck? Then they probably have a fanbase that will ignore anything they do or say as long as the thing they like continues to be there to fantasize about, and you better believe that racy political rants will be on the top of the ignored pile.

TLDR, :autism: breeds :autism:.
