He's probably lying about it. He is more than likely saying it so as soon as something bad happens. It might be due to the ELO Hell developers contacting Twitch. I think he is waiting for something so he can just say "see i told you."

Isn't I wanna be the guy deliberately designed to be hard as hell and unfair to boot? Dave almost found a perfect scapegoat for his crappy gaming skills if his lack of skill is already well known along with the game's brutal nature

I am genuinely curious about what it’s going to take for Dave (this one’s for you @Invisible Crane!) to either get the axe, or to finally run off his supporters. He is already manipulative, has promised on still undelivered Patreon goals and sub count goals, he is wildly disrespectful and allows those who pay him enough to say and do whatever the fuck they want, he’s disrespectful to victims of hurricanes, has called people exceptional and faggots, he took PrincessSwagginz’s $100 for Madden and put out a half hearted, bullshit attempt at a playthrough, fuck, I figured the Dave Emergency Begging Drives would be enough for Twitch to put their foot down and make something happen. I was wrong. Apparently Phil can do whatever he wants, including having sockpuppet accounts and fake accounts get subbed to his channel. I wouldn’t doubt if he sub bots or view bots on occasion. He blamed Vidar for his channel having the view bot that one time...

I dunno man. For as much as it pains me to see such young naive children throwing money at such a boring, weak personality as Dave, I can’t help but just shake my head and laugh. They have no idea that Kat is gone, that Dave has bought tons of expensive luxuries with their money (as he absolutely refuses to show the rest of his house on stream)... In fact, that one dude tipped $60 because he wanted him to play WWE 2K19 and instead of denying the money or refunding it, laughs and says he’s not gonna get it bu thanks for the money dummy, it’s going towards, “the bills.”

I guess I will just never understand this generation that watches Dave. I would so much rather pull weeds around my house or watch an episode of Jeopardy or Grey’s Anatomy over Dave’s stream. I simply don’t find any redeeming value to watching his ridiculous, “raw and uncut,” playthroughs.

He'll maybe get kicked out when he doesn't make a profit, that's all Twitch care about when it comes to Dave

As soon as I tune in he asks the chat how to save.

He bitches about using the keyboard where he could easily use a controller emulator program like Xpadder and use whatever he wants.

"Yeah, I'm not one of those sponsored streamers with a brand new fancy keyboard I'm using this dirty 2 year old HP keyboard piece of shit!"

Then he nonchalantly asks for a new keyboard.

Yes, the game's entire point is to be very troll-y. If you've ever seen something referred to as "Cat Mario" the entire game is very much that. Platforms move unpredictably, deadly hazards just kind of leap at you, the whole game is built around trial and error and perfect double jumping, and everything kills you in one hit. It's a lot of fun for anyone watching a first-timer play it, but Dave being Dave he can just blame a keyboard and make the occasional OK joke only to moments later completely kill it by saying dumb crap after it.

It might be a great scapegoat for crappy players but it's a major opportunity to have a little fun at your own expense. Not exactly Dave-the-fourth-place-WINNER's forte.


EDIT: I love how every time he jumps in some of the trickier parts, he JOLTS in his chair and the table also shakes, and the camera with it. When I see players do that it's usually at parts when they're barely hanging on, Dave's gotta do that with basic freaking jumps.

*Offtopic* I died once there but only because I wanted to see what would happen if I drop a tree trunk on my head(yup, I am this kind of player). That said, the so called "gameplay" is not even that because Clementine is just so damn slow at killing zombhees(kick, stab, remove knife) if another zombhee is nearby it'll patiently wait around until its turn comes. Hilarious but ultimately a fail. *Offtopic*

Wasn't his playthrough of Season 2 one of the all time classics? Have to check a TIHYDP of it now.

I wonder how it compare with SBFP of that game

It's also notoriously buggy and will crash. The creator of the game admitted that.

Why did Philly cut the Third Strike videos down to individual matches if he's going to make them into a single video in the end? Easier to do it the other way around if you don't want to include the dead air.

Honestly, it's not terrible in that a youtube viewer doesn't have to deal with Phil just sitting around.

Taxes. Next quarterly date is Sept. 15th. He may or may not actually pay them (or attempt to), but you can bet your last bit he'll bring it up while sighing heavily and putting on his almost-pouting face, black shirt-clad shoulders in full slump.


Edit: And it's worth noting that at least at this point (~3:45 PM EST), this rage-a-thon has really gotten out the bucks. A whopping $1 tip from pineapplehead himself, and a top cheer of 200 bits (~$25 in cheers total, with a whole 2 subs too).

He's 36 so considering the way he lives he is due for a heart attack. I'm not wishing that upon him but I don't think anyone would be surprised if he did have one in the near future.

Edit: after 20 minutes he still can't get by the 2nd screen. "I DIDN'T TOUCH ANYTHING DOOD! WTF THIS IS STOOPID!"

I remember playing IWTBG a decade ago and these two screens are kids stuff compared to later in the game. I think I beat the Zangief boss but I can't remember.
