There are so many ways to read that "difficult and complicated" that I haven't even wanted to speculate. My immediate reaction is that Chipman Senior in no way approved of his son's life path -- "Bob, you're almost 40 and all you do is make videos on the damn internet" -- but really, who knows. There's got to be something to explain why Bob turned out to be such a bitter, misanthropic loon.

I figured Silk illustrated the point that Bob doesn't know what he's talking about and is a hypocrite even more. She came from a big event story and had tons of shilling. I fully await the day Bob calls comic readers ultra Nazis for not liking nu-Marvel and the following day goes "Wow, Riri Willaims had an origin where she steals stuff. Maybe that shouldn't be in the movies!"

It also shows how easily he'd resort to calling people horrible things over something he has zero context to because he just goes "minority=good!" in his head even if we're talking about fictional characters made by woke white people. Not breaking news but it shows he'll call you a Nazi for having problems with stories he never read himself.
