All Chris did was slap a 50% off, then bam, sold out in 20 minutes.
This shit never cease to amaze me.

The set of pendants he likes is $36.

Also, looking at the list of people who favorited it shows Chris's new Etsy account, joined two months ago. He has MLP pendants and trans comics liked.

I like that we can see the seed of the next finachu crisis germinate from the current financhu crisis.

Cows in general are people who almost always validate all bad assumptions and rarely validate good assumptions, so to me it's no surprise that many people's guts go with the bad ahead of the good, this is especially true because we want to see funny things happen, so we have an innate bias for what sounds funnier/worse for the cow.

I know it can be annoying to some of us who know what's what, but cow watching is a process that makes jaded people, myself included.

I think the only reason I would believe that Chris didn't forge Barb's signature is that if he set out to do it, he would utterly fuck it up, Chris is just that much of a fuck-up, the only successes he ever had are entirely unintentional.

One of the few good things you can say about Chris is that he is a born merchant. He really knows how to push merch that other people would consider to be utterly unsellable. You can argue that he's selling to fellow speds, but the point is he figured out how to monetize those spergs, and that's something I honestly respect, even though he probably couldn't tell you how he did it, but he did it.

But then again, like I said above the quote, he is a born fuck-up, so it's inevitable that we will find out later that he kept the money and didn't ship the products, or shipped them improperly, or doxed the customer, not to mention him constantly fucking up on pricing and savings and getting stuck without shipping money.

Agreed on his marketing skills. I know people on twitter shriek at him to stop begging, but "please buy my stuff!" is really more like a pushy commercial.

It's the internet version of someone walking besides you down the street so they can push some knock-off Rolexes, it's annoying, but it's harmless really.

Chris does far dumber things imo, I don't know why people screech at him for that thing in particular, it's the closest his life ever comes to being functional, it's kind of a job if you think about it in the weirdest of ways. He's just shit at most of it's aspects like he is with everything.

I think anyone buying this autograph shit is a lolcow
Oh indeed, just to put this into perspective, people would want to buy a Brad Pitt autograph, but no one in their right mind would buy his mother's autograph.

Now replace Brad Pitt with a ZZZ-rate celebrity, and the situation becomes a complete farce, completely worthy of Chris's lolcow status.

There's got to be one or two people out there that have amassed an impressive Chris collection by now. Somebody is jumping on this garbage with barely a hint of hesitation.

Who are these people? Do they display this stuff in secret? Who the fuck do they show it off to?

Who would have thought that a special could create a buyer base of specials trying to show off to other specials? I mean, "pandering niche items to the respective niche group" isn't a new business model, but I think we should all appreciate Chris's mastery of the fine art of selling things that no one in their right mind should be proud to own to people who are proud to show them off to people who should never be impressed by them. The amount of sheer failure it takes for that business chain to work is impressive.

It's a closed market. Like selling nazi memorabilia in Israel.

Neither Chris nor Barb are getting better. I have no clue why people give them money. It doesn't help. Give them real help. Assist them with setting up a lifestyle that can support them. Look for people in their area who can look in on them and help. Giving Chris money to go to conventions is counter productive. Chris hasn't a clue about what is best for him. He is mentally deficient. I like him, but he isn't capable.
