Kiwi needs a '((()))' rating for posts, I heard this in Seinfield's voice. Ick.

You leftist fuckwit. This entire Trump election was the devil deciding to back a canadate and the left using that as a excuse to call Trump supporters demons.
Sometimes it feels like most of the crazy people online are far left. Thanks for being an example of the contrary.

For those who may not know: Troma is the bottom of the barrel of the entertainment industry. When they want nothing to do with you then you really fucked up.

I'd argue that would be The Asylum. Troma is trash but they're good trash. I have a lot of respect for them and they gave people like Matt Stone, Trey Parker and James Gunn a place to start. They make low-budget shlock but they make it because they love it.

Her normie fanbase and those that are on the other end of the political spectrum from where she is, at least. Though I'm pretty sure there are some normies that legit think this is her pulling some kind of stunt.

What the fuck kind of normie would be a fan of animations where a cartoon dog rapes a corpse?

Look, I ain't saying I'm a white supremacist...
But I'd lie about it for a couple hours to get a piece of that ass.

Patrick Little might be one of the most blatant glow-in-the-dark CIA-niggos in a long time. Even worse than Chris Cantwell. I feel genuinely terrible for Emily throwing her life and talent away for this alphabet agency honeypot.

I don't.

That's hilarious.

Not really. The Asylum is seen as being fairly legit these days with their Sharknado movies and that zombie show for the SyFy channel. Plus they regularly get known SAG actors to appear in their productions. Troma wishes they were on the same level.

I thought they were mainly known for shockingly shitty copycat animated movies of whatever was the latest hit 5 years ago.

You think shes a contractor for the CIA now? She's a known on the internet as a "nazi", she's good at creating content and drawing attention to herself, she spent time in South Korea which has 15 US Military bases. I mean it'd be a good idea to bring her on board, since she could be the face that brings the thirsty neo nazis who want their pure aryan waifu in.

That too, but that's the game in Hollywood. Just like when Deep Impact and Armageddon came out around the same time. Or Dante's Peak and Volcano. Or Olympus Has Fallen and White House Down. They've done a successful job of marketing themselves to the hipster/ironic crowd.

Whereas Troma has been the bottom of the barrel catering to the more bizarre or "obscene" kind of movies plus they aren't affiliated with any of the unions. Plus they distributed some softcore flicks and Lloyd used to direct porn back in the 70's. The stigma still holds. If you're trying to get your foot in the door in Hollywood then having Troma on your resume isn't going to help you now. In the case of Trey Parker and Matt Stone and James Gunn it was their work after Troma that got their foot in the door with Spirit of Christmas and the Specials respectively.

That's the thing about Troma, they manage to hit that super rare sweetspot of low budget campy over the top schlock that's self-aware but also not try-hard like the Sharknado movies.

The first Toxic Avenger movie has the jock bad guys going around at night running over children for fun and has some gangsters try to anally rape a blind girl.
They also adapted it into a kid's cartoon.

Yeah, the Toxic Crusaders. I actually watched that cartoon as a kid.

I'll always like Troma more than The Asylum because The Asylum feels so much more cynical, even with the non-Mockbuster stuff. There is debate in the bad movie fanbase about Sharknado and whether or not it qualifies as "so bad it's good."

I also know people who work for Troma and they good people.

I don't think you ever get to "so bad it's good" by trying. The best bad movies are those that were done with honesty and passion but by people who just completely sucked at what they were actually trying to do.

+1
"So bad it's good" implies failure, and if they wanted to make a movie that is intentionally cringy, it isn't a failure (in that respect)

I'd say you can get "so bad it's good" by trying, but tryhard bad movies will never be as awesome as movies that are accidentally terrible.

Like, Sharknado (the first one, I haven't seen the next fifty) was so bad it's good, but it will never be as "so bad it's good" as something like The Room.

Edit: Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a good example of a movie that tried to be "so bad it's good" and succeeded incredibly well.

I still say if a movie is trying to be schlocky it isn't a so bad it's good movie because it accomplishes what it sets out to do. We laugh at the incompetence of The Room, Plan 9, Birdemic, Troll 2, a Neil Breen movie, etc. but when something is acted poorly or looks like shit in Sharknado, it's intentional. It can only be a so bad it's good movie if the filmmaker isn't in on the joke when they're making it.

Good point, I wasn't really differentiating between "schlocky" and "so bad it's good", but yeah, they are two different things.

I find it interesting that even though she's a "Nazi" she only seems to care about the Jew-hating and white supremacy parts of it, and not the actual political aspects of the political party. She never mentions what she finds appealing about the economic or governmental structures of Nazism. Almost like she's just edgelording...

Is this motherfucker trying to fuck up his own campaign? Or does he think since Trump said several things a week that would torpedo anyone else's campaign it'll work for him too?
