Fucking wow . At first glance I thought his suit was patchwork for some terrible reason, then I realized the truth was far worse. They added arm warmers and leg warmers on top of his jacket sleeves and pants legs.
Suite is certainly not my favorite season for designs, but I'd hardly call it the worst. Though I can agree that Melody is the worst of the Suite bunch.

To be fair, every female character from Eiken is... bad. Their outfits are super garish, so much so that it almost manages to detract from all the... fanservice.

In a more controversial pick, the character designs for il sole penetra le illusioni always bothered me for a reason I couldn't quite describe. The character designs in the first place aren't terribly interesting, but the transformations are just... lazy, almost, or overdone. And inconsistent. They either do too little (ESPECIALLY the purple haired girl) or too much. And the main character's stupid side thing is distracting.
Why does this one gain animal ears? I get it's her power, but no one else is animal themed. It stands out in a bad way. Also, nothing else really changes.
The laziest design. Her hair doesn't even get longer like the rest of 'em. I guess she gains a dumb braid.
Garish colors that don't look good... despite having basic color schemes.
LOOK AT HOW BIG PURPLE GIRLS HEAD IS
Literally just slightly longer hair and some witch accessories.
I should probably mention that all of these are meant to be tarot-themed, so this one is obviously The Fool, but it just looks... so dumb.
The last two just don't seem to fit with everyone else's design. They just seem like they're from a different show.

Actually, Yugioh designs were always pretty meh on the humans, but as time went on... It managed to get worse. There's hyperstylized hair, and then there's just ridiculous and bad. Mostly in regards to color choices.

This brown-haired guy looks incredibly stupid from the front, but at the very least his hair makes some sort of sense, even if it does there's a dead spider on his head. But in general the more colorful the hair, the stupider it gets in Yugioh, a trait that carries over into the Yugioh knockoffs most of the time. But Yugioh has turned into a parody of itself.
Really generic aside from the color palette.
There is such a thing as being too dedicated to the theme.
Looks like a Ben10 alien.
The FREE! version of Poseidon at a glam club, I guess.
Just has too many elements.
