Almost 5 years to produce a 96 page book (.pdf due February 2014, hardcover March 2014). If you don't think that's outrageous, he claims in the kickstarter the book contains: 31 ink drawings (completed) and coloured versions (26/31 or 84% completed), unseen drawings / sketches used for the 'inktober' project these drawings came from (presumably already completed) and 12 pages of original story / art. Still not outrageous enough? Well if he met his stretch goal (he didn't) the page size would be increased to 6x9" or A5 sized (8.3x5.8"). Here's a shot from his trailer, I'm guessing A6 sized drawings...

So it's ~5 years wait for a maximum of 39 pages or the more likely 17 pages of sized A6 sketches to be completed. Now he claims the book will be doubled in size, but as a twitter reply put it 2x0 =0

Well that's kinda sad. A 96 page book that is essentially a compilation of older updated sketches and new ones should not take more than a year or so to make, factoring in things like coloring or added sequential pages. And given how more "scratchy" his inks are, shouldn't be too much of an undertaking to render in basic colors like what would be seen in most comics.
