I love that he feels identified with Les, when they couldn’t be any more different.

Les worked humbly and kept trying and preparing himself until one day opportunity called. Rusty feels entitled to start at the top from the get go despite him having zero skills.

Les grew up without a lot of opportunities, while Russ had the support of a loving family and he blew it.

See, I don't think he understands that, even after the Grande trial judge explained it to him. He didn't get what "good faith" meant either. He doesn't understand that those terms have both a colloquial meaning, and a legal definition, and he wasn't meeting the legal definition. He thinks Swift hurt his feelings by not responding to him, and in his mind, that's his claim. He can't get it doesn't meet the legal standard of a claim.

It bugs me, among other things, that Russ forever whinges about women not looking past his outside to see the caring emotions he has inside, about how his condushuuuuun keeps him from ever having a meaningful relationship based on mutual love.

Russ has proven time and again that he views all interactions with women as transactional. He pays whores, he venmos IG models, he bribes and then sues female stars. He assumes money or gifts change hands or law compels women to do things for him. In his ultimate fantasy of himself settling down, is it with a beautiful wife by his side? No, it's at the Russell Ranch, where he has his nightly choice from a bevy of prostitutes who work for him and thus, in his mind, are being paid to give him the Girlfriend Experience.

Women can't see past his looks into the caring individual inside because Russ DOES NOT CARE. I could believe he's utterly incapable of actually having real feelings for a woman, because that would mean seeing her as an independent individual, not as a possession he can use to show off, polish his ego and/or his dick, or use as a stepping stone to getting contacts in showbiz. Every time I think I pity him for getting stuck with the short end of the genetic stick, I remember that nothing is holding him back from having a loving relationship more than the fact that he is incapable of even wanting or recognizing one. And that's the saddest thing about him.

The “Crazy Ariana Judge” (not sure what makes him crazy) who told Russ he doesn’t know the law was explaining to him the legal definition of a claim... which he still doesn’t understand, despite 5 years of paralegal school and a handful of failed lawsuits for the same exact reason.

The crazy bias judge was right though. Russ doesn’t know the law. He knows enough to know how to file things and cite stuff that is completely irrelevant or misapplied, but that’s it.

You can just feel that he was thinking of his bio sister when writing that. Russ has said on almost all his lawsuits that the person he's suing needs to be taught a lesson. Telling a judge (or anyone ever because that's going to be used against you in court) that you want to use the legal system to hurt/defame/libel someone is a sure fire way to get your case dismissed with prejudice.
