Lol @ the idea that someone disrespecting McCain would lose them votes.
John McCain? You mean that guy Democrats said was the only good republican? Then in 2008, he suddenly became LITERALLY HITLER, until the day after the election, when he immediately became an okay guy again?

Democrat principles at their finest, people.

Are these exceptional individuals aware that McCain made sure some people weren't invited to his funeral?

You know who else besides Trump wasn't invited to the funeral? Sarah Palin. Because apparently McCain blamed her of all the people and factors in the '08 election for "losing" him the Presidency.
Barring your own running mate from your funeral because of petty butt hurt bullshit. I can just taste all that "civility" and "principle" from our dearly departed Senator McCain.
Really the way Palin was treated by McCain and his people is nothing short of disgraceful.
From McCain throwing her under the bus for his media buddies to tear apart both during and in the decade after the campaign. To the fact that the higher ups in the campaign like Steve Schmidt transparently hated her.
Although I suppose thats just another reason Democrats loved old Senator Songbird so much. He hated and attacked his fellow Republicans just as much as they did.

That's why I'm not the least bit worried about November. The media wants me to be afraid. They want to throw out polls like a 60% disapproval rating for Trump. They want me to think Trump's negotiation skills are failing because they broke every journalistic principle they had to leak off-the-record comments. Polls want me to think that the GOP incumbent in my district is doomed because some far-left Regressive won the Democratic primary, despite the fact that the GOP incumbent has won his past two elections by 20%.
This is presumably being done to at least give off the illusion of increase in Democratic support, to reunite and reinvigorate a divided and dwindling base. Otherwise, Dem leadership would have to accept fault for their actions in the past and actually change.

It won't change anything, and it won't work, because I remember The Meltdown. Not that Meltdown, the one just before it. See, here's what the media was doing in late 2016 to people in the middle of the aisle who were paying attention to them. If you want to sell someone on an idea, sell them on the idea as if its already happened, not the idea itself. The media wasn't trying to convince anyone when it came to the idea of Trump losing. Trump losing was an absolute certainty. No, they were trying to convince people of what would happen after Trump lost.
As one who spent most of the election comparing CNN reports to descriptions of Trump from his supporters on the Internet, I can tell you that that was a big cause for Trump's victory. The sheer arrogance of the media made a good chunk of the populace vote for Trump out of spite.

The media was bombarding people with the notion that after Trump lost, all of his supporters would take to the streets kicking and screaming and rioting. Not if, when. It was supposed to be a meltdown of epic proportions, and they were so sure of themselves that they founded a new Subreddit specifically to cover it: /r/The_Meltdown. /r/The_Meltdown did end up serving its purpose. It catalogued one of the most-ridiculous, mind-bending meltdowns ever recorded in this country, but it wasn't the one that they wanted, and then the moderators abandoned it once all the Trump supporters filed in and started tap-dancing on the corpse.
Karma's only a bitch if you are one, as they say.

We're a year-and-a-half forwards from then, so what's changed? The methodology of the polls still haven't changed: Oversampling Democrats, polling registered instead of likely voters, flat-out fudging the numbers at every opportunity. There's been truckloads of faux gaffs of GOP candidates hyped by the media which have shown to be bullshit with literally two minutes of research. It's the exact, same pattern all over again. Just you watch: in October, the Left will start talking about how the Right will meltdown when the Democrats retake the house and start impeachment proceedings.
The Democrats retaking the House of Representatives is an extremely low probability at this point. By November, almost nobody who isn't already a regressive leftist or Trump Derangement Syndrome induced wreck will take the media seriously or at face value anymore.

They're walking right down the exact, same road and they're expecting me to buy this bullshit for a second time after the first time failed catastrophically? I'll pass, thank you.
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it, as they also say.

The media started to lose all credibility when it started to get in bed with the Democrats. The media has been run by liberal ideologues that have been manipulating the thoughts of the American people for years. People now are realizing how full of shit they are.

Personally, I think the Republicans will gain more in both houses and it’ll allow Trump to actually do more of the shit he wants to do for the people that voted for him. The most important thing though is that the midterms will show that both the left and the MSM have stubbornly learned nothing since 2016.

So basically they are pushing the "demoralize possible Trump voters" x 500%

I came across this just while I was searching for comic covers.

God damn these are cringy as hell. Especially with a shitty president like Obama be Black Panther.

McCain was a dogshit candidate. Looking back at the 2008 election, I wouldn't have voted for either Obama nor McCain, since Obama would've sold the 69 million people out and McCain being Bush Vol.3.

McCain: Don't come to my funeral you bastard

Trump: K

Media: OMG TRUMP DIDN'T GO TO THE FUNERAL, ORANGE MAN BAD!
Really, what was he supposed to do? If he went the media would be blowing up about Trump crashing the funeral he was explicitly told not to come to.

McCain said fuck off, Trump fucked off. The man shouldn't just hole up and not have fun because one dead guy's the most unfun old man of this decade.

McCain may have banned him from the funeral, but every last one of them brought Trump with them, anyways. I'd honestly think it was a little bit sad if it wasn't so perfectly petty and spiteful for a man who lived such a petty and spiteful life. Oh well.

I would say Palin cost McCain support (if not directly then it definitely sapped voter enthusiasm) and it was pretty clear Palin was forced on him by the RNC. That said, not inviting her to the funeral is petty as fuck. You could at least maintain a veneer of mutual respect.

Feud aside, I can't really fault him for not inviting Trump, since it would have just made the whole thing about Trump. I mean, his final message and his family did a good job of making his funeral all about Trump even before the media ran with it. But you know, the principal of the thing.

The petty crocodile tears from the left is pretty great.

They also love him because he lost so chocolate jesus could take the white house.
Its funny how Dems never seem to like Republicans who actually win, and forget all about how important decorum is when people in their camp act like loons & bullies when they want to win political points.

This is why that 'buy Twitter to ban him off it" plan will never work.
