Its only the gameplay trailer and I'm already sick of Nero's voice

I don't know, still not convinced that capcom won't screw this one up. At best it will look to be a passable entry in the series. The combat looks alright if a little slow (but then again this isn't endgame character yet). Boss fight looks ehhh, rather boring and not very engaging. I know people can get sick of qte fights, but then there's the opposite end where not having anything to change up a boss fight can feel empty. Just have to wait I guess
 
So in DMC5, V is a new character, Vergil cut off the Nero's arm, and V looks like he could be Nico's brother. People also noticed a staff in V's arm. Also, rebellion breaks, so Dante might need to borrow his "special" sword from Trish

Is Dante really gay or is that a joke? I haven't watched any videos but I thought Japan was above the whole social justice equality thing.

Dante's song on the other hand is :horrifying:ly :islamic: and there's a rumor that they accidentally composed it with Donte in mind. The fact that it was removed from the official YT channel speaks volumes about Capcom's confidence in it

Even trish made fun of him in 4, after watching nero and kyrie together by saying " well at least someone knows how to get the girl".

Going by Dante's personality of being the ultimate troll, even for the sake of sacrificing parts of himself for a joke, I'm voting for the later

I would hope Capcom would be self-aware enough to realize that Dante shouldn't be boning a woman who is explicitly described as looking exactly like his mother.

But anyway, yeah I'm buying. I have wanted a new DMC for a decade now. I tried the Ninja Theory game and got bored 15 minutes in. I'm glad Capcom is going back to what works. Now they just need to do that with Dead Rising.
