During prestream/shoutoutswhicharenotprestream, Phil went on a rant about how green screens are a stupid mainstream trend that don't improve the quality of the stream (nobody has ever been able to give him a definitive explanation as to how they do), and that he has found 'success' by being different. I won't even comment on that part.

But I will point out that he needs to look in his garage... because the only thing worse than following mainstream trends is investing in them, and then not following through to gain any tangible benefit from the investment. Some might call that stupid. But I guess like the car, we're supposed to memory-hole the entire contents of the garage.

He didn't close his account or anything, so all his followers and everything should still have been connected to it. So I believe that Girlonduty could have even followed him after he'd stopped streaming on Twitch for a period and it'd still register.

Hmm, that's what I was wondering. Just odd that she'd follow him in the time where he was off Twitch and claiming he would never return because of their shitty business practices.
I guess she is really a fan then.

Not only that, it lends credence to the motive of Phil's ability to bypass the usual Twitch rules by having an admin deliberately abuse their position for personal gain. But as Twitch is a business, it's not going to stop anytime soon, long as the gullible continue throwing money at the sad clown.

Noticed a pretty funny little thing during snorts newest video, dave was talking about some twitch subtember thing going on and I guess there was a panel for it that was somehow confusing and he said

“I was trying to watch this clip from the panel and I was super confused, so obviously if I’m confused you guys will be confused too”

Nice jab at your viewers dave, got to subtly remind everyone he’s the biggest brain boy in the cult

Did a green screen fuck Leanna or something? His irrational hate for them is so weird.

Edit: As an aside, I was watching Tevins restream of the depression podcast and in it he claims he was told that DSPGaming could never grow. He specifically says that even if he made longer videos it wouldnt make a difference. But now he claims that his channel is growing but hes making less money. Just another example of him being full of shit.

If he could be arsed to set it up, he would have to move furniture. He sits on a couch, not a chair, so there would still be the DSP casting couch taking up a huge chunk of the screen.

Honestly, the green screen wouldn’t do much and certainly wouldn’t improve the khantent unless DSP fucked around with his entire layout. With his bad back, he can’t do it.

Cue “I haven’t had sex in ages”.

His usual excuses are that he'd have to move furniture or he can't put up a green screen because his wall is covered in acoustic foam. Elgato do a pop up green screen now though, which takes up barely any space and can be set up in less than a minute so yeah, he's just fucking lazy.

People asking Phil to use his green-screen are engaging in a pointless exercise. Phil will never do anything that leads to him having to do anything approaching extra work.

Translation:I'm too lazy to use a green screen. That would involve using A WHOLE OTHER step with my streams. I enjoy being different like everyone else. My idea of different is the least effort combined with all the worst practices that other streamers have given up, sprinkled with excuses.


I just heard Phil say that Google, and I quote "Needs people to demand that they change, otherwise they never will." That's both sad and hilarious. Dat projection doe.

Yes I know even in this thread full of crazy conspiracies this one is stupid crazy but it was a thought that just popped into the brain and felt it would be better to air it.
