This is pages too late but I just want to point out regarding the "bipolar or borderline mothers" discussion that this is not bipolar behavior. If you know someone who has been diagnosed with bipolar and acts like this, they were misdiagnosed, which is actually common. Bipolar people experience the same highs and lows as borderliners but for totally different reasons, and they are not manipulative, abusive, etc. (An individual may be for unrelated reasons, but not because of the bipolar.) It's a mood disorder, and that is all. They can make very poor life choices when in a manic state, but they're not going to trans their kid and parade them around for years on end.

Borderliners have problems with their identity. They're constantly changing things up or desperately clinging to one aspect of themself with zero other personality traits, related, all the BPD kids on tumblr who clearly have no personality beside how gay or how trans they are-- in parents you see it manifest instead as only ever being "the parent of a _____ child" (sporty, smart, LGBT, etc) and there's a lot of crossover there with narcissistic parenting.

Kids are made to be an extension of their parents and are manipulated into behaving the way the (usually) mother wants them to, with threats of emotional abandonment if the child does not comply with Mommy Dearest's demands-- all while maintaining the outward facade of a perfect family. (Ever notice how nothing ever seems to be wrong with these kids home lives, not even normal sibling arguments?) Everything is about the parent, never the child, and you always see from these types, despite their blog supposedly being all about their transgender child, most of their posts will revolve around themselves and how awful/amazing it is to be them, which is another part of BPD. Everything is great or horrible, nothing in between, in fact they see the whole world in black and white, which is why they immediately assume anyone who questions them even slightly is Electric Fence Pence crossed with Hitler. They also reinterpret scene in post that originally meant nothing to be "signs" of other things, or totally rewrite history to dramatize events, like little Jimmy saying these underwear are uncomfortable being retold as "Jimmy hates his penis omg we need to cut it off"

From looking at her internet history she has a reputation for transitioning children early prescribing puberty blockers as soon as required and will start them on HRT at 13/14. I've found a forum post alleging she was being investigated for giving HRT to a 12 year old. There's also a facebook post stating she offers surgery to people under 18. She doesn't seem to get that if the child feels like he doesn't fit into a social group then pausing his development at 12 while their peers mature is going to make it way worse. Here's a quote from her, "Besides that, what’s worse? Accepting your child’s gender identity, or burying them because we couldn’t?"

She was also sued for medical malpractice as a female wanted one of her ovaries removed but Rixt went and removed both to make her permanently infertile. (https://archive.is/nwYri) After being sued she did a post refusing to offer treatment for the trans-community due to legal threats but in response the trans-community threatened to sue her for not offering treatment.

Why was it considered just a phase when the twins did it but Jazz did it, he had gender dysphoria? Could it be that Mom didn't care too much when the twins played with girl toys because she figured she could just get pregnant again and have another girl (Jazz has an older sister too. She's about 23.). With her final pregnancy, she anticipated a girl and when the doctor announced "It's a boy!", come hell or high water, she was still gonna have a girl, God dammit!

One of the main issues I have with these parents of trans kids is that, trans-ness aside, many of them have raised their kids in an echo chamber to the point that unless you just regurgitate everything back to them that they want to hear in exactly the right words, you're considered a bully. The parents are always there to tell them the world is always wrong and that they are always right, as well as embellish the shit out of mundane incidents to make their little snowflake the most tragic victim possible. Something as simple as one child accidentally bumping a trans child on the playground and causing a skinned knee becomes "OMG! My precious little trans was viciously assaulted by all of her classmates at recess today and those bigoted teachers just stood by and watched as the sandbox filled with blood!" on their social media accounts.

Jazz's parents are the perfect example of this. When Jazz started junior high, she was told that she couldn't play on the girls soccer team anymore because she is biologically male and the male hormones would make it unfair. Did Greg and Jeanette calmly sit her down and explain to her the school's side of things and how sometimes you have to deal with disappointment in life? Fuck that! Hot-shot lawyer dad sued the school because transphobia and they were forced to let her on the team. When a doctor says that Jazz is too young for the sex change surgery, who gives a shit? Mom and Dad just take Jazz to the next doctor, and the next one, and the one after that, etc. (FWIW, Jeanette has said that they went to multiple doctors before they found one who would do HRT on a child. They doctor shopped from day one.) Basically, all they're teaching Jazz is that instead of accepting certain disappointments and maturing from them, you can just sue people or go from specialist to specialist in order to get what you want. It certainly doesn't help that the Jennings family have a fuckton of money. They're probably used to just buying people to achieve their ends.
