A few months back, Tommy Sotomayor did one of his live videos about Lactatia. While I think Tommy is often too quick to blame things such as homosexuality, truancy, and crime entirely on single mothers (usually black women, but that's not the case with Lactatia), he raised an excellent point. He stated that when a mother puts her two-year-old daughter in makeup, heels, and Pretty Woman-esque evening gowns and enters her into the pageant circuit, everyone is rightfully appalled and calls the mother abusive. When she puts her two-year-old boy in the same get-up and basically beats into his head that he's actually a girl in the wrong body, such women are lauded as loving and progressive for "accepting their child no matter what". He stated that it's like these boys' feelings and development don't matter as long as their mothers get the attention they crave.
Say what you will about Tommy, I think he was on the money with that one.
Another thing that I've noticed is that said mothers often allow their MtF kids to dress in really provocative ways that no normal parent of a cis-girl would ever permit. No 12-year-old girl, cis or trans, should be wearing midriff tube tops with Daisy Dukes and six-inch hooker heels. I'm not convinced some of them aren't deliberately doing stuff like that so they can play the victim and whine "But parents of cisgender kids let them do it too! Stop oppressing me!" when people call them out.
