He did a recent video on Dishonored getting put on ice and part of it was just him claiming that Prey was initially going to have Morgan be female since a lot of dev-diaries use "her" or "she" early on when describing Morgan. This was apparently enough for him to write off the game.

Which I find funny, given how Razor decried that game journos didn't give Deus Ex Mankind Divided a lot of attention out of supposed spite over the Aug Lives Matter/Mechanical Apartheid debacles, which is exactly what he did with Prey not even half a year later.

He is more like talking about games, instead of reviewing. He really goes into them with a set opinion.

He just wants outrage clicks, at least it looks like that. His viewer base is really into politics on some level, so he is pandering to them.

I grew up in the South West around where this guy lives, he may seem like a rarish bird on youtube but guys like him are a dime a dozen in AZ. Metal has a good scene out there. Who ever named this thread hipster metal fag is on the money. He's a contrarian many times for the sake of being a contrarian.

I actually enjoy Razorfist, though that may have to do more with nostalgia for my home town than him. He's actually pretty good with making contrarian arguments, fairly quick on his feet, but fuck does he try and be different for the sake of being different all the time. Sometimes it's a fresh perspective, but a lot of times he'll end up taking some really dumb stances like supporting Killroy, defending DSP, etc. Even his love of Metal is contrarian

This attitude actually plays well in parties and social situations. Girls get drawn to a weird enigma factor, dudes will want to hear you rant and justify extreme points for the lulz. The problem is what starts as a neat way to get attention starts becoming a knee jerk reaction where you can't stop and you lose who you are.... And I'm saying this as someone who thinks the guy is entertaining.

(Pull up examples that used that font type before Metalica, claim he used it from them" rather than just admit "yeah, don't like their music but that logo style is awesome"

I like a lot of what Razor does, but there are a handful of things that Irk me to know end. Someone talks shit about him, he goes full destruction mode. Cries about peoples privacy and right to privacy (like when his nude jerk off video leaked), feels perfectly fine doing the same to others or featuring images in his vids from leaked nudes. Shits on Sony and makes an amazing case for hating them, then buys their consoles. White knights Xbone when NSA feature caused their console to flop. I get a good chunk of his shtick is hyperbole and a half, but a lot of that isn't a character.

Honestly I think if he just stopped for a minute and thought "am I doing this to be a contrarian cunt or is this how I really feel" he'd be a pretty okay and still be more or less the same. Of course if he read this in a thread (which you know he does while pretending he doesn't) he'd take being called a cunt as a mark of pride and increase it to flex on the person who said it.

I don't know; he was willing to admit that he liked David Bowey's showmanship, characters, and such while still hating the man's music in his recent "Detroit: Become Human" review, so he may very well just say "yeah, I like the font in their name, but hate their damn music" if asked about it.

He might, I was giving an example of what the more insufferable of these kinds of people are like. I do like Razor most of the time and he's far from being the worse of the Hipster Metal douche stereotypes. I more wanted to illustrate this stereotype as it's exclusive to the South West and not common elsewhere.

I thought he liked Bowie. I remember he considered Omakron the Nomad Soul's exclusive bowie cutscenes and tracks a plus... Then again I catch the occasional vid and read his ED article. I don't follow him closely.

I thought so too, but it seems he more likes the "persona" of Bowey, his multimedia contributions, and what he did for the music industry as a whole, but isn't a fan of the man's actual music, as revealed in a Youtube comment he himself wrote, then later screencapped for his review.

Seriously, a jab at Super Best Friends Play? Talk about being a snowflake who can't handle other people's opinions. So what If they didn't like the game you did? So what If It was about compatibility stuff and old game desing? "But Vilnius, It Isn't about that, It's about the cult like mentallity" Yeah, he always goes for this, always blaming people when they don't agree with him for changing public opinion, same shit with Red Letter Media and the fucking prequels. And that's something I find repugnant on him, being a contrarian is obviously the same shade of retardation as being the guy who always agrees with whatever is popular. And I think he knows this, but Is just too into his own persona to try to do anything about It, he started believing the stuff that was supposed to be satire or an exageration, which happens more often than you might think on the Internet, take a look at Maddox for a shinny example. And if he Isn't or wasn't being satirical and exaggerated, just that retarded, then his place on this site is more appropiate than you might think.

on an unrelated note I feel the only reason that the Force Awakens Review Done by Redletter Media Sucked is because it was in good parts helped by Repzion who is a devout leftist and friend of TJ Kirks and if it wasn't for that influence it would have been better
