I don't dislike the idea of him pandering to normies, I dislike the fact that his videos are lacking any depth or substance. Like I said, they lately feel very surface level when it comes to a topic he looks into.

*Regardless* of how his recent normal vids have been, his recent streams have been fucking glorious... better than ever in fact... as have all of his recent appearances on TRR.... I don't see how anyone could honestly disagree with that.

I don't think anyone's debating that Jim's on a downward spiral. His streams are great and his views are plentiful, but like others have brought up, I'm not loving his recent videos.

Well the reason I brought that logic up is that the implication behind all of these "his content has gone to shit" posts is that he's going to lose viewers/patrons/subscribers if he doesn't stop and go back to his old stuff, and it isn't happening.

Also, as an aside the flaw in your example is that there are more people who know about Nickleback and think it's shit compared to those who don't because of how well-known they are. Jim isn't as well known as Nickleback, and it would seem the majority of the people who do know of him aren't put off by his most recent content.
