Yes. Dude it’s laughable how much like sjws they’ve become. It’s an incredibly insular community with content creators and audiences patting one another in the back and getting upset whenever they get pushback.

You could see this whenever they fought the altright, because the altright would come in to their comment sections to criticize and insult them but they’d never do the reverse despite having greater numbers. All they would do is say shit “why are these salty altrighters criticizing a video critical of them lol”. Or variations on this “go away so I can have my safe space” mentality. The altright was basically just the first community to call their ‘marketplace of ideas’ bluff and it worked

A lot of people seem to think that Sargon has backed himself into a corner, but there's actually a very easy way for him to come out of this looking good. He may even have alluded to it in one of the links included on his stream, which was Jim's Patreon message stating that he was in poor health. It would be a very nice gesture on Sargon's part if he were to stir up some shit to help Jim pay for his medical expenses. The circumstances are already in place. Jim has confirmed that he will be stream sniping him.

I suppose if you want the deepest lore, this whole drama is entirely staged.
