But I feel like Jim represents a certain era of the internet a lot of people here grew up in or were a part of. Idk, he makes me feel nostalgic for mid to late 2000s internet and I can see why a lot of people can rally behind him. He's one of the last few people to stay somewhat relevant from that time period.

I didn’t say Sargon’s stream wasn’t a massive fuck-up. It was, but that’s not the point of my comment. Irrespective of the quality of Sargon’s stream, there seems to be a very strong strain of, to put it bluntly, dick riding for Jim just because he makes videos on the same topics we enjoy making fun of. Like just because we’re in the same sphere (I guess that’s what you’d call it idk) we have to blatantly ignore anything questionable or milky about him.
