The funniest part about this whole thing is that Sargon is a guy that got known for being a troll and by doing the stream response to Metokur, he broke the number one rule: Don't feed the troll.

Yeah, he got in fight with a cop when he was drunk which was dumb but it seems like he knows he was an idiot for doing it. He's like the buddy you bail out of jail and he's all sheepish when you give him a ride home. With Sargon you expect more from him and it's sad when he fucks up like this.

Though to paraphrase William F Buckley I'd prefer to live in a society run by people like Ralph than one run by people like Sargon.

Can you please explain the context before I head to the next meeting? I'd like to keep you on but people on UKIP's National Executive Committee are becoming concerned."

Now imagine you've got five minutes to explain this absolute shitshow to Batten to the point where he'll defend his decision to work with you to the NEC. The NEC allegedly forced out Farage, blocked Ann Marie, imposed Bolton and then booted him out and probably want to force out Batten to because they're wrong about everything, all of the time.

Seriously the more I think of it, the funnier it becomes. Even someone politically godlike like Farage or Trump wouldn't be able to do it, and Sargon is no Trump or Farage. He's not even a Henry Bolton.

Batten's done a far better job at rebuilding UKIP's coffeurs than was honestly expected by a lot of people. Batten himself is what is termed a "Faragist" which is the fusing of the controlled immigration and economic liberalisation message which played shockingly well in what is nominally Labour's heartlands as people are still sat in those places unemployed after 20-30 years of depravation from the collapse of older industries (which co-incidentally also coincided with our membership of the EEC/EU and cheaper european imports).

The interesting thing has been this odd dive off into the woods with the increasing use of young libertarian youtubers as a means of connecting with the youth. The end result has been semi-lacklustre but he managed to stave off UKIP's bankruptcy by speaking plainly and honestly about the situation they were in.

To be honest though, if you want to actually influence jack shit you really want to go back to the Tories as the party is now in the same sort of place where Labour was just before Corbyn was catapulted into the top job that has left him looking like an angry confused grandpa for the last couple of years.

Don't know enough, and don't really care. The reason I brought it up is that it seems like there's increasingly seething resentment at Jim for discarding people he doesn't have use for anymore.

Couldn't care less about this either, but it sounds like these people really should have believed him when he said that he wasn't their friends. I remember being in FB group called 'the Alt Right' long before Spencer's speech. It was explained to me as 'conservatives who don't like the main conservative party, i.e. the Conservatives in the UK or Republicans in the US'. So it was a mix of people from libertarians to to Southern Fried types to UKIP to actual hard right ethnonationalists/natsocs. Though people would argue pretty hard with the later when they sperged out about Jews controlling the weather.

Probably the centre of gravity was UKIP for Brits and the stereotypical Trump voter in the US.

The current battle going on in the online world - which is very important for swaying anyone Millennial and younger - is who can seem the coolest. The Right was winning for a few years with meme culture, and the Left countered with a mutant irony culture to make up that they can't say bad words. It's the Cold Pockets of online banter, but it works to a degree. The problem is now we're stuck in this insufferable arms race where both the skeptics and socialists are trying to roll their eyes and be sarcastic the strongest.

Sargon is a great example of this, and I think this is what is going to lead to a big blow to the Anti-Left (I wouldn't call him Right for a reason, most of them aren't.) The condescending chuckles, the sarcasm, the handwaving, it's going to reach a climax soon and it's going to poison the well on most discussions. Each side is just yelling "I'm not even mad!" louder and louder. Watching an argument between a Million Dollar Extreme fan and a Chapos Trap House fan is the most aggravating shit in the world.

The Skeptics and the rest of these eCelebs were very relevant in fighting back against SJWs and feminists and the rest of them, but now they're becoming corny. They're not cool, they're spazzes and degenerates. The Left will notice this and soon relate any criticism of social justice to these goodballs, like how they successfully tethered any criticism of women to "incels."

This is also helped by how I don't think anyone wants to hear about SJWs and feminists anymore. That content had a good run. A good 5 years, give or take? After awhile all the videos look and sound the same. On top of that, they learned from this. All those feminist freakouts and social justice pants-shitting, most of them moved over to Antifa. They're done talking, they just wear masks and break windows now. It's why it's so hard to find lolcows in general these days: even possible lolcows got wise to what they have to gain or lose so even the ones who go public have a financial gameplan for it. This hurts Sargon and all the skeptics the most; their enemies have evolved, and they haven't. That's what this whole shitshow is about, and Sargon played a bad hand.

I think where this goes is the socialists become more socialist and the racists become more racist and the capitalists become more capitalist and so on. The next few years, I see a true breakdown of the various dogwhistles and lies we all tell to appeal to the center. I've seen it on the left and right simultaneously. It'll just be "yeah, I'm a fucking racist" and "yeah, I'm a fucking statist," which will put an end to gotcha-interviews, but may end up making debates more interesting. I love seeing an actual white supremacist and an actual black supremacist argue, instead of both of them spending 45 minutes explaining how they're not racist.
