Artcow Michael John Kricfalusi / John Kricfalusi / John K. / John K. Stuff / Raymond Spum - scammer animator who pissed away his own career, salty blogger, CONFIRMED predator and child rapist

I never understood why they invited him to do commentaries on the later seasons when he wasn't involved at all with the show. And I was even more surprised when the packaging promoted some of the commentaries as "Commentary by the real Ren & Stimpy!" With John and Eric Bauza doing the voices and cursing. I think the first "in character" commentary has John say as Ren "What is this shit?" For the Road Apples episode. Because that's something you want to introduce your children to.

Not to mention that the "in character" commentaries were HORRIBLE. Bauza tries to make something of it but John just doesn't give a fuck and it seems like it was improv but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a script that John ignored.

The DVDs weren't meant for kids and featured a content warning, which is frankly bullshit when it comes to the show. But if that's because of the special features that's a different matter. (You wouldn't want to introduce your kids to getting creeped on by a guy much older than you either.)

Touche. But even still, Man's Best Friend wasn't that bad. Especially compared to the later seasons.

I tried to get my younger relatives into the show through the DVD's and it was then I realized that girls just do not like Ren & Stimpy.

Katie Rice is on some of the commentaries on the DVDs. As well as Eddie Fitzgerald and his annoying laugh. I believe there's some creepy, creepy stuff with him and Katie on the DVDs, but I never listened to the commentaries and really have no desire to.

For someone who is obsessed with drawing drawing sexy girls, John K sure as hell can't do "sexy". He can only do "vulgar".

He also can't do "proper drawing" either these days.

Aside from that, I mean. She's on a couple of the commentaries, and I believe he's pervy to her on those as well.

EDIT: Remember how I said none of the Games guys did commentaries on the DVDs? I was wrong - Bill Wray and Scott Wills did some commentaries as well. (I suppose in part I remembered it because I remembered the story behind that...)

This is John K.'s definition of sexy

Huh. Yeah, there's definitely a resemblance there. I'm also kinda shocked John scored a girlfriend.

A girlfriend who wasn't underage, you mean.

But they went to college together and were together for a decade - up until, after finishing her work on "Stimpy's Big Day," she dumped him and left Ren and Stimpy. (You can probably guess why she left him. I heard stories, and then I saw something that inadvertently confirmed it...)

It wasn't just being a pedo, or being a huge jerk to work with such that it seems virtually everyone who ever worked with him was cured of any preexisting friendship?

That sums up his output perfectly. He is a one trick pony for the early 90s edgy cartoons.

He never got past those days. He was still trying to fight battles that have largely been won by now, and was still trying to sell people on his shitty projects from the 90s that never - and I mean that - made it as recently as a few years ago.

It's the story of wasted potential. If he wasn't like Ren Hoek in real life, he could have been really big with the cartoon business.
He had the skills, maybe the talent even but his work ethic and lack of maturity doomed him. He really pulled a dinosaur with not being about to adapt to trends, other people and business reality. Sad.
