Sometimes there are lolcows I’ve been aware of for a long time who unfortunately go silent after a while. Due to her inactivity online, I see no point in making a thread on her but nonetheless I will share an abridged run down on Sally Schrock.

So the first question you may have is “who the fuck is Sarah Preston Schrock?” Glad you asked!
Sally Schrock is the author of Hayseed’s First Race, a children’s book about an Appaloosa horse participating in a horse race.

Back in 2010, her book ended up being pulled from the publishing company.

wanted to begin by thanking you for your message. I was writing to let you know that Ms. Schrock is no longer one of our authors. Her children’s book, Hayseed’s First Race has been removed from our website, and will not be listed in our 2010-11 catalog. We have to keep up the website where kids can go and print out work sheets because the website is listed on the back of book and must remain available to those that have already purchsed the book. We will remove that particular site in the coming year.


We have spoken to our attorney and have been informed that we cannot tell Ms. Schrock to stop what she is doing. To do that would put us in a precarious position.


But, like I stated above, she is no longer one of our authors. We support horse rescues and have contributed finacially to the cause of a number of horse rescues. Sales from one of our books are even being donated to ReRun Inc. and Southern California Rescue. Now the source provided is, admittedly, quite dubious given that the blog was created specifically for calling out Sally Schrock- so I took it upon myself to check out the website itself. The book has indeed been pulled since October 2010.

OLATHE, Kansas - More than a dozen animals were removed from an Olathe home on Friday after the house was deemed unsafe.


Police say the homeowner was cited for numerous violations of municipal ordinances.

The house, in the 2000 block of E. Jamestown Drive, contained 14 animals including dogs, cats and birds.

Police and code enforcement officials removed the animals from the home.

But NBC Action News went by the home Saturday and found one cat still inside the house. We called officials to let them know.


Neighbors say for years there has been a bad smell coming from the home due to all of the animals.

Kelli Cannaday, said, “I am honestly glad, because I had seen the dogs before and they looked unhealthy. Ratty, not taken care of, not bathed, so it was smelly.”


Her husband Chris Cannaday, told NBC Action News, “ She sat outside and she would greet the animals as they came out but she seemed alright, just a little sad.”

They say while it was sad to see the homeowner loose her animals, they think her pets will be better taken care of at an animal shelter.


They hope someone will adopt the animals and that the homeowner finds a place where she can stay.

“I hope she is okay, and that she is somewhere where they can help her. It doesn’t appear she can take care of herself and then the animals. I hope they find homes,” said Cannaday.


Neighbors tell us Sally Schrock lived in the home. We verified that information with records. We also found out the woman is a Children’s book author. She wrote and illustrated, Hayseed’s First Race.

Olathe does have a city ordinance that restricts how many pets you can have.


We tried to talk to Schrock, but since she left yesterday neighbors are not sure where she is staying.

Olathe’s Animal Control division is investigating the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Olathe Animal Shelter at (913) 971-6362.

Well shit, that doesn’t look too good now does it? At least she knew to lay low and not draw any possible attention to herself, right? If that were the case then we would not be here right now.


So for a while Sally Schrock was in an Internet slap fight with an equine rescue who refused to adopt a horse out to her; a horse she wanted to use during book signings because it looked like the protagonist of her story.

Colleen, you really need to level with me about Hayseed as I have an attorney involved. According to him, Diana committed a breach of good faith when she reneged on the agreement she had with me.


What's more, I found out from one of my other FB friends last month that she was planning to use him to personally profit off of my book -- which is copyright infringement on my work as well as on my publisher's exclusive rights to the character --without my knowledge or permission. My publisher is aware of this. My friend was kind enough to save the chat transcript for me, which I sent on to my lawyer.


Apparently Diana told you she never got my adoption application. This is not true because I sent it twice--to her murphy-diana@att.net email and the voiceforhorses@wmconnect.com address. I don't believe she ever really intended for me to have him in the first place once she found out about my book.


Another thing, Colleen, I know she has told you this and she also has posted on FB that she was planning to use him as a therapy horse with handicapped children. Angie Lepowsky told me that when she started working with him, she realized that he is a VERY green horse who doesn't know much, and as a matter of fact, she said that he has bucked at least once.


Does it make sense to pair such a green horse with handicapped kids or teens? If in fact she DOES have such a therapy program as she claims, she is asking for trouble BIG time because people could get seriously hurt with a green horse and that means big lawsuits. What's more, such a program requires constant supervision with trained volunteers working with the riders.. where and how would Diana even have the time for this when she is constantly fundraising for horses in need?? I have been told that therapy program horses have to be certified to be deemed safe for handicapped riders, and Hayseed has only been in training since early May.


Colleen, please open your eyes and step back to look at the big picture. Diana is 'rescuing' on the average, 25-40 (or even more) horses each week. Only a handful actually get homes that week. That's over 100 horses a month! Where are the rest of them going? Everyone else is asking the same questions and you need to stop and think about that as well.

There are too many people involved in his rescue already and they also have a right to know, particularly Sharla Sanders, who does have a financial interest in him as she kicked in $200 with the understanding that he would be my horse.


Please do the right thing for me, for Hayseed and our friendship. Too, please take your heart of it for a while and take a good long hard look at Diana and Voice for Horses....

Can't believe I didn't think of this one: Zach Horan.

Back in the early 2000s, I was a member of alt.tv.game-shows, and Zach would post CONSTANTLY. While the guy had an extensively encyclopedic knowledge of game shows and often gave informative posts, he also had a massive troll side. For instance, he would often post misinformation to get a rise out of people, or post "spoilers" that consisted of things like "Somebody pressed their luck on today's episode of Press Your Luck." One other poster came up with the acronym "ZHIFOS" (Zach Horan Is Full Of Shit) in reference to his posts, and Zach started using the acronym himself. According to other people who go back that far, he would often blame his behavior on the 'tism, and his mother would sometimes e-mail people who had problems with him.

Because of him and a few other trolls, the a.t.g-s community moved to a new forum in 2003. Zach followed them over there, and continued his usual pattern: mostly good posts, but with a few doozies thrown in there. The final straw was a tasteless joke made on the anniversary of Password host Allen Ludden's death, which got him a boot. Apparently he tried to sneak back into the forum hundreds and hundreds of times, and got insta-banned with each new account. (I missed all of this as I stopped posting to a.t.g-s sometime before the migration and didn't join the new forum until much, much later, but I found out about his bannination through archived posts there.)

I came across him again on the now-defunct Sony Pictures forums, which were dedicated mainly to Sony-owned shows, particularly Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! He kept up the same pattern of being a good poster some of the time, but the rest of the time, he would creep on any female champion and offer them a "Cyberial [sic] cigar", which would eventually get him banned. This spread to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and a Who Wants to Be a Millionaire fan forum among other places by the time the Sony Pictures forums were hacked in 2011. (Apparently, he actually was on Millionaire back when Regis was hosting it, but never got out of the Hot Seat.) The only personal run-in I've had with him to date was deleting a "cyberial cigar" comment from a Jeopardy! video I uploaded to YouTube a few years ago.

Not long after said hack, many of the game show fans on the Sony forums migrated to an existing Wheel fan forum and a newly-created Jeopardy! fan forum. As far as I know, Zach has (surprisingly) never touched the Wheel one, but he made a mess of the Jeopardy! one. One administrator noted that he got banned almost immediately for a "Cyberial cigar" comment, re-joined under a whole bunch of new names, then finally joined under "legendneverdies", suggesting that he knew fully well what he was doing and was reveling in it. He would usually post reasonably well, but sometimes a cigar would slip through and get deleted almost immediately. The last straw came when several female champions on Jeopardy! who posted on the forums (a large part of the forum's membership is former contestants) revealed that Zach had been PMing them cigar comments, which finally resulted in the mods dropping the banhammer on him. The worst part is that one of the PMed individuals was on a Teen Tournament a couple years ago, and is still under 18 as of this writing. From day one, it's seemed that he's worn his strange identity as a badge of honor. At last report he is still living with his mom, and he's gotta be in his 40s by now.

tl;dr: Completely shameless game show nut, shit-poster, troll, sexist, stalker, basement-dweller, and now pedofork.

As a more recent game show fan, I was clued in to his behavior by several veteran fans on FB, and nowadays, he's tried several times to worm his way into the Discord server of Game Show Garbage. Thankfully, we can always tell when it's him and summarily boot him.

While many things can be blamed for this creeping idiocy, most notably the extremist left's tendency towards entryism, a far-less-discussed reason for it is the fact that, as a whole, many Social Justice Warriors have no responsibilities and infinite free time, which gives them free reign to be offended all the time and causes to attach themselves to. What makes this worse is when one of these schmucks gets some level of official power, because with even a shred, they will immediately abuse it, and nothing quite shows this power dynamic quite like a pair of Tumblrinas who got placed into the position of Chat Moderators for the video game Warframe, and are now well on their way to becoming living memes.

Telluric, also known as equius on Tumblr, and -Misan-, also known as FriendzoningMisandrist on Tumblr, are a pair of nutjobs who have appointed themselves the arbiters of Warframe's in-game chat program after initially being appointed chat moderators. The problem is, like any Tumblr users, the pair are hypersensative assholes who will motte and bailey until the lolcows come home to defend their right to blanket censor and control the speech of the chat channels in-game. Worse, DE has been extremely slow to do anything about the complaints about them because of how disconnected the in-game chat is from the rest of the game.

Unfortunately, this is a situation where incompetence and automation came along for the ride and as of this moment there are hundreds of players who've been unintentionally banned from the in-game chat program because of how they chose to execute this little plan of theirs, which involved bringing a full-blown script to monitor the chat and immediately drop the hammer on anyone who uses "slurs" and "harmful speech," which as anyone remotely familiar with the Tumblr subforum on the Farms will tell you, functionally boils down to anything that could remotely be construed as offensive.

You see, Kiwis, they set this script up to, initially, autoban (for one week) anyone using the word "trap," and the word "gay" from in-game chat. This is issue for several reason, not the least of which being that Warframe has numerous actual traps in-game, ranging from usable traps the player can use (Kinetic Syphon Trap) to ones set by enemies (Voltage Traps). It's equally an issue because one of the most popular (and hilarious) Warframe Youtubers is AGayGuyPlays. They're especially pissed off by the "Nezha is a Trap" meme, popularized because the warframe Nezha is petite and effete, and is easily mistaken for a female Warframe, with equius in particular pitching into long-winded rants about how the meme is the most offensive thing ever.

The humorous thing about this, aside from it resulting in the meme becoming further entrenched, is that despite bitching about Nezha trap art and genderbent art constantly, FrienzoningMisandrist in particular posts it and related content approximately all the fucking time. Oops. I'm not sure if the "gay" filter is still up but they added "rape" to the filter recently and are continuing to go full steam ahead with adding verboten additional content to the chat bot. Throw in that the in-game chat already wordfilters words like "ass" and you have the in-game chat continuing its long stride towards being fucking useless for everyone except for trading.

Note that they only have the ability to ban your account from in-game chat (including the trade channel, in-game private messages, and in-game user chat). They do not have any ability to control your in-game voice-chat (with effects current squad only), the in-game mail service, or third party chat programs that most players use like discord, teamspeak, Steam Chat, etc, and they do not have the ability to ban or sanction your account (yet). Most of the time the bans are for one week and do not prevent you from playing or using third-party programs (or voice) to talk; it just prevents you from using the in-game chat program.

Back on topic: With Telluric and -Misan- causing numerous week-long chat bans from Warframe with their little script, the pair decide to, apropos of nothing, fuck doing the logical thing and say, stop using the script until they get a context filter of some sort working; they're going to keep handing out week-long chatbans with no warning for behavior that only they actually take offense to. And then they're going to pull the Vade maneuver and claim that only haters and trolls are taking offense to the filter's incompetent setup.

Unfortunately, it's not only the Trolls and Haters, it's pretty much the entire community, and while DE was able to lock things down hard on the official forums, less can be said of the Warframe subreddit, which despite all attempts by the powers that be to curtail it, continues to rebel and call the chat mods out for their shit. This is unfortunately just one part of a very big problem with DE's chat moderators in that they're almost to a man fucking morons and hose out bans for non-offenses constantly and routinely chatban newbs for asking basic game questions. So Warframe's in-game chat sucking ass isn't a new thing, the identity politics are just a new twist.

....But there is going to be a metric fuckton of salt reaped in response. Recently, DE put out a trailer for a new Nezha skin, a pretty beefy one, and the responses in the comments have been the community responding with the good taste and maturity many Warframe players have come to love:

Keep your eyes on this one, Kiwis. They've gone to ground for now but I seriously doubt that their initial slap by DE is going to keep them out of trouble, and it's just going to continue to harden the playerbase against hypersensitive faggots like them. As @KidKitty once masterfully put it, if it comes between a decision between the paying customers and a pair of ideological dipshits, the customers will win every time.

Word filters in multiplayer video games is so baffling. I always figured with a lot of dumb trends in video games that it was always going to get a little bit worse, but word filters are just something so goddamned stupid that I never expected them. Just boom, right the fuck out of nowhere, words without context are now harmful. And people still keep paying these companies that keep doing this shit, stop the fucking car.

I've always stood by the notion that the Region Chat for Warframe has somehow reached a tier of brain-melting cancer on par with Warcraft's Trade Chat and so why ever would a sane person make use of it.

That being said, this filter of their's spilled over into Squad, Private, and Clan chat well before it was hastily patched in some three month's past time. ANY violation -period- would get you tempbanned from all forms of communication, and ANY attempts to communicate the issue on the site forums would inevitably get the thread locked down after legions of white knights would rush to defend m'DE and m'traps.

The Steam forums for the game manages to be a little beacon of light, but you'll still find people being compelled to act like pissbaby children over a stupid meme and HOW DARE we have fun in a serious game about ninjas. Even the normies are warning the company 'get woke, go broke'.
