I have a feeling some people want him to be a lolcow because they're butthurt members of one of the cringier groups he's mocked.

Would it really fan the flames that much? Jim wouldn't get upset if we doxed him. He's said before on a couple of these streams when asked about it that he knows that it will eventually happen as an inevitability due to how prominent he's become, making him a large target.

And large targets always get doxed. It happened to Sargon, MundaneMatt, Zoe Quinn, etc. Jim has accepted he's not going to be getting away being anonymous forever.

At most we'd get more headaches on this site because of all the tard wars that would be invited onto here between fans or people who don't think he deserves it (full disclosure, I voted no on him being a lolcow and am apparently one of his beta orbirters) vs Skeptic youtube fanboys celebrating it because now they can finally personal army him easier thanks to us.

"Turning on Gamergate" really enraged a lot of people, and I think doubling down by bashing the Kekistan shit and Sargon is making them that much madder. Someone in Sargons thread pointed out KiA didn't seem like they cared about the beef, but a lot of them were pissed for years about Jim pissing all over their super serious agenda.

I really like what Jim does. There arent many channels like his which take all these strange and bizzare people across the internet (Ross, Nick Bates etc.) whom you most likley would have never known existed, and Jim presents them with humor and shock, talking about their crazy antics. His content is really one of a kind in my opinion. He isn't a lolcow, for now anyway.

I figure people think of Jim as like a Kiwi Farms poster, because he mocks and laughs at the speds. So they treat him like people get treated here - you're probably autistic, and you shouldn't powerlevel or a-log or weeb, but as long as you follow those rules you're fine.

By that standard, he appears to still be part of the community, even if he doesn't post. Which doesn't mean he can't be a lolcow, but he doesn't display most of the traits lolcows generally possess - and if he has those traits, he knows to keep them offline.

He's probably is a farms member or at least a lurker. He referances us a fair bit and their's a lot of overlap in our field of interest.

Me. I feel this thread is more relevant to users browsing this new subforum than the Multimedia subforum. If Jim did fuck up and humiliate himself it'd still be held in the Metokur general thread anyways.

Having a thread doesn't ruin your life and it doesn't express contempt. This is just a clerical issue to me.

In the past year he’s bedn taking a lot of jabs at him (including last stream). It’s clear Bomberguy used to be one of Habermann’s buddies like Jim and got trolls remorse around the same time he did. Although in his deviants video about Metokur.org he said that he was never that close to him, he probably has at least some dirt on him.

Honestly I would love to see Jim expose Hbomberguy but the issue is it would be hard to prove anything since Metokur’s been taken down. Let’s hope Jim screencapped stuff.

Given how closely he guards his information, and the fact that the only stuff we "know" about "Jim" is what he feeds us can we really say any of it is really true (I will give him the benefit of the doubt on him being sick).

The only way I can see Jim becoming a cow is if he some how ends up leaking his real life data (or it gets doxed), and then having him sperg out, which I don't really see Jim doing given his long history of doing what he does with out any major slip ups, he either will (not) acknowledged it or just go silent (Maybe assume yet another identity).

Even if he gets doxed and has a colorful history would he really even be a cow if he keeps his online and non online life still separate? All the cows I know of (granted I don't follow every one) always either end up or started with their online and offline lives merged.

From what I've seen of Jim and his online persona, I doubt he's that much of a dick offline. But I'd assume he has many of the same opinions (like his hate for pedophilia) as the online persona.

Still, you never know, anything still and can happen in the future that changes things a complete 180 degrees.
