SnakeThing goes on to comfort Kero and tell him everything he did was okay. Twitter posts of Kero mourning his dog seem to line up with the message dates.

It's doubtful that Nelizar/SnakeThing is the leaker "zoodonym", particularly as the whole thing seems to stink mostly of a lurker of sorts rather than any involved members of this little circle of abject degenerates, particularly given that there is ample in the logs to incriminate Nelizar/SnakeThing themself. Most people would be sure to avoid self-incrimination (of course these people are far from normal, of course), but even degenerates and criminals know to be at least somewhat cautious. I could be wrong, though, but of course I have my doubts.
A friend of my mom's used to work at my local humane society. She had to quit a couple years ago because a lot of the rescued animals were in such horrible circumstances that it honest to god gave her PTSD. And I live in a not so populated area. I cannot fathom how someone can go about committing these...vile, depraved, inhuman acts - this is literally alien behavior.
My pups recently turned a year old and I remember when I first got them when they were just 8 weeks. The things that makes puppers adorable (big paws, puppy breath, bright eyes, their wiggly energy, etc) turns on a biological instinct that tells you:
"This thing is a baby and babies are nothing but cute, defenseless, fatty lumps that cannot and do not survive without something protecting it."
So you, as a human (and as a cognizant being with high intellect), will go out of your way to make sure nothing hurts this thing that not only can't defend itself, but has been domesticated to a point where not even fucking death keeps a dog and its owner apart - it's fucking family and you better take great care of it.
Because not only is that instinct keeping the next generation alive, but keeping you from being a depressed, miserable, emotionally stunted husk of a human.
God created humans to be stalwart curators of his animals and all that shit.

Have any of the other sick fucks implicated in this responded yet? This Kero guy might be able to play off the "Iranian hackers faked years worth of messages and fucked animals in a replica of my fursuit head" bullshit because he's "famous" but I doubt any of his asslickers are going to buy that defense from the literal whos who were also caught.
There's no treatment or cure for sociopathy. The only reason I can come up with for not killing them is potentially deploying them into some combat situations as killing machines.
Interesting thing about this video. Looking through the comments once more, it seems like Pkrussl may have deleted a few better worded arguments on it.
