Aunt May dies. A biological weapon is released, thousands are killed and infected, May keeps helping the needy and gets infected herself very early on in Act III. She’s on death’s door and Peter has to fight his former mentor for the cure. He succeeds but there’s only one vial. He can either use it to save his aunt or let the scientist synthesize enough to save thousands. It’s a very emotional beat, it’s clearly built up over the course of the story through Peter, Miles and May. It is not fridging. Stop misusing the term.

Honestly I think he is probably mentioning us more because the clique/subculture/whatever he resides in have boiled down the concept of victimhood to such a degree that it is near literal currency to them, and since we are the biggest archive on his fuckery he is desperate to tap in to all that "MUH STALKING MUH THREATS MUH BIGOTRY MUHPRESSHUN!" victimcoin so that he can rally the REEEE and have his personal enemies in the subculture hounded once again
However as others have pointed out, he really...REALLY doesnt want people to actually dig into the thread and see for themselves the secretgamergirl they have been defending and having girl-talk with and thus he walks a fine line of wanting people aware that we have a bigass thread on him, but not wanting them to ever actually go on to it.
