Careercow Anthony "Ally" Burch - Cuck. Bummed out ev'ryday his parents are alive.

I had one awkward phone conversation before I got hired at Riot ("Hey, did you trade sex for a job opportunity?"
Yeah apparently he didn't do the "trade" he allegedly said he would get them the job, had sex with them and never upheld his side of the deal. Hence there was no trade of sex for a job.
Bitch shoulda read the fine print 'opportunity' Not Burch's fault she couldn't secure the job.

I don't really believe the accusations though, running a casting couch seems like it would take guts and/or balls and Anthony lacks both. I also think that if there was an opportunity to use Burch as a footstool to raise someones career for wokeness points it would've likely happened already (with Burch readily being that footstool).

I had one awkward phone conversation before I got hired at Riot ("Hey, did you trade sex for a job opportunity?" "No, the actual story is XYZ" "We'll do some research and let you know if this is a dealbreaker") and that was literally it.

Oh lord this has become an amazing quote for his innocence now that Riot staff have been accused of harassment in the workplace by Kotaku. Really makes you think Anthony, really makes you think.

Oh shit, I should have known the reason the Borderlands writing got weaker and weaker as the series went on would have a fucking cause that's got a goddamn LOLcow thread. Not sure if I want to even read anymore and damage the remaining love I have for BL2.

I'm not sure I'd let this thread ruin your love for Borderlands 2 when Borderlands : The Pre-Sequel probably already did it.

:offtopic:
Pre-Sequel had some quality-of-life improvements (grinder, butt slams, double jumps, better balanced UVHM, lasers, skills from level 3 instead of 5, etc.), but it feels far more like extra DLC for BL2 rather than its own thing.
The pacing of the game was horrible, the areas feature too many vast swathes of empty space and the characters aren't nearly as charming or interesting as before.

BL2 may have badly written dialogue, but it doesn't soil the entire experience when there is such an ungodly amount of stuff to do, a larger variety of enemies and areas to experience and soo many easter eggs to find.

Exactly so. I still have some love for BL2, I have ZERO for the Pre-Sequel. That game was complete shit except for a few areas and the writing was fucking atrocious.

In looking to chronicle his specific work history with Riot over the past two years via the League of Legends wikia, I've noticed his name is lengthened to Anthony Burch Reynolds; whom exactly did he marry to get this white name extension?

EDIT: Looks like the wiki is retarded and just merges the two different Anthony's that are/were both writers if they worked on the same thing:

These are literally the only two aspects he is publicly credited with on the entire wiki. On his personal Squarespace page, he says: "League of Legends - Wrote for the worldbuilding team on League of Legends, as well as several unannounced Riot projects"

it's probably worth archiving some of the recent related tweets like the Holly Green ones since Broteampill's link above is dead from yesterday via suspension.

It's largely unrelated, but of the two Riot employees who recently quit we largely focused on Daniel Z Klein(because of his relationship to ArchivistBecks) and didn't give much attention to Matthias Lehman, who whined in a blog post about guys saying "we were raped" when they lost games as if that was some great injustice. Contextually it makes more sense that he & Anthony might be more closely related on the down-low re: skincolor politics given Burch's abandonment of white identity in this thread's twitter caps:

I was definitely an outsider at Riot just by demographics. I spent most of my adult life in Portland, one of the least black cities in the United States, with a black population of 6.3%. The wing of the building I worked in at Riot was maybe 1–2% black, with a total of ~7 black people (when I started there it was 3).

going to document as much as I can before some mook edits him out, it's probably worth archiving some of the recent related tweets like the Holly Green ones since Broteampill's link above is dead from yesterday via suspension.
Most likely an error. Had his name combined with this guy: https://twitter.com/_AntReynolds_
If you check the wiki history, it used to have them separated.
