While the point Trump seemed to be circling around about false accusations is a worthwhile subject, my god that man cannot speak comprehensibly. It's just so much rambling, repeating, self congratulatory nonsense. I don't know what it is, because like I said there seemed to be a worthwhile point under the blather, but why couldn't he spit it out?

Listening to trump reminds me why I voted against trump. Not that I'd vote for a democrat again after what they're pulling, but my goodness this guy sounds like a complete idiot...

It would have been nice if he could have just said "Oh yeah, thanks for asking me about those allegations that were proven false, that you and the rest of the fake news refused to report, because it made crooked hillary and the democrats look bad to be paying women to make up rape allegations. It seems possible that is what is being done to Kavenaugh right now, which is too bad, because I think he's a great guy."

I've noticed he seems to fall under the same problems that Camille Paglia has where they tend to repeat words to keep track of what they're saying. Camille often pauses with rhetorical "okay?"s and I think it's because they've gotten older, but I'm not sure entirely. He could use some lessons to help him no longer need such a crutch, though.

Then you got types like Ben Shapiro that are just spouting a thousand words a minute and you have no idea how he's keeping track.

Another thing about Trump's speech pattern is that he'll repeat things thrice. It's a kind of rhetorical tactic to my understanding to make certain things stick in people's head. Makes sense for speeches. Sounds goofy in more serious settings.

Also, I've seen him speak memorably. I'm not one of the 3-D chess crowd, but I can see why he'd try to be unmemorable when talking about subjects he'd rather that people ignore. It's like the lawyer's trick of having their witnesses wear pleasant, low contrast outfits when giving direct testimony, and unpleasant, high contrast outfits on cross.
