I put Flynn in the same category as Scott Snyder. He's likely not an SJW, but he is defending his friends who are without seeing them as the pieces of shit they are. What I find interesting is that he revealed that his wife contributed heavily to the Sonic the Hedgehog series with stories and designs when it was at Archie, but never received full credit in his anti-CG serge. There appeared to be some insinuation that misogyny in the industry and the fanbase was the reason. No. That's solely on Archie and himself if he didn't stand up for her.

I kinda get the vibe some of Flynn's praise went straight to his head too. I think he's competent when it comes to making adaptations and continuity references but it seems like dealing with Sonic fans who never really can agree on what direction they want has given him a sore spot. It'd be a mistake to get involved if CG if he doesn't have to considering from what I remember, the readerbase of the Sonic comics don't completely overlap with capeshit fans and such. It's Sonic spergs who want more while they wait for new games to come out and Sonic isn't facing the same issues other media is having right now.

Wouldn't they be mad if they were included, assuming they mean MtF? I mostly see either they become were-cats too which makes it even more strange men aren't affected or we go down the route of some not wanting a solution as they see the now estrogen filled water as a fantastic thing.

If it's FtM then sure, it could be interesting to explore them being extra dysphoric in this world but that wouldn't be too far removed from the terror of becoming a were-cat anyways....when we ignore the implications of the cat merch. Any way you take it, that's too much shit for issue one of a new series.

In addition to being a mathematical moron, he also just doesn't get why that small percentage that throws money at even obscure projects only asking for $8,000 (which it easily made) are called whales.

This is a term from casino gambling, and casinos know to treat that tiny percentage of their customers who throw massive amounts of money around well.

It's absolutely astounding the people who run this "business" are letting their moronic minions run rampant sending asshole pics to this very specific customer base while their business is already swirling around the flushing toilet.

I worked briefly in a small casino in Pillockville with a games machine arcade and by god you treated the whales well on pain of shouting from management. Any non-alcoholic drinks? On the house. Tea? Coffee? On the house. Could we take their dinner orders so they didn't have to go queue up at the bar like everyone else? "Of course Mary, what do you fancy? We've got steak pie in."

Because they stay at the machine they keep putting cash in.
