If the cat food costs that much, it's likely it's a specialty food for a cat with allergies. One of our cats was allergic to certain proteins so she had to eat exclusively lamb based food-- and it was pricey. 65 sounds about right for the largest sized bags, which was a better deal than the smaller ones.

But like...not to be mean, cats are basically on autopilot re: self care. You keep food out. You change the litter. You play and cuddle. They potty train themselves. The only pain in the ass is the clawing, but double sided tape where they choose to claw deters most cats.

I have zero idea why she thinks this is going to be a lot of work. Not if you get a normal goddamn cat? This isn't a high stress decision. Pick a cat. Make sure it doesn't have seizures and isn't allergic to tuna. You're fucking good. She turns everything into a stressful ordeal for no reason.

Never mind that apparently she's never heard of Shriners, which has only been around for almost 100 years, making sure that kids get treatment regardless of the parents ability to pay. But no, it's the diversity that matters.

My cats basically ignore me except when they want to play in the middle of the night. they're very self sufficient. My dogs on the other hand want constant attention. She's freaking out over nothing.

Most sociopaths and psychopaths tend to abuse and mutilate small animals and insects as children and teens (Some continue as adults as well, more so, if they have children) before moving onto people. Jealousy isn't the word she wants to use.

Blue Buffalo went through a relatively recent class action lawsuit over their dog food-- not sure if this also includes the cat food, which is made from different ingredients/in different factories. But a lot of dogs like straight up died. I want to say they found lead in the food itself, probably from old machinery?

But as near as I can tell there's nothing wrong with their cat food.

Anyway. Of course her stupid ghost husbandos have an issue with the cat. Like god forbid she not invent fake problems to whine about on social media. It must be nice to have no actual concerns.
