Of all the people to posthumously add to the #Resistance why Roald Dahl?

Dude just wanted to write children’s stories about why you should always be honest. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was bae

I don't think I'll ever get tired of watching a reporter just get slapped around.
I actually was watching that at the time. One of the other captions at the bottom was, “Trump talks trade instead of Kavanaugh” or something to that effect. Kind of dismissing the whole thing, in my opinion.

It’s like, what’s more important? Landmark trade negotiations and inter-governmental cooperatio, or rape fiction?

Eh, just give it another GOP president. He'll be a darling compared to whatever "literal lovechild of Hitler and Satan" is in office then.

On one hand I don't wanna see another political dynasty but on the other part of me wants to see Ivanka become president just so everyone can keep crying and the added bonus of a conservative taking the "First female President" thing away from these babies.

They'd actually love her, she's as progressive as any woke rich white chick.

It's pretty funny how you hate being compared to Nazis, then start defending an honest to goodness neo Nazi. James Fields admired Hitler and Germany as far back as middle school, and referred to Germany as the "fatherland" when he went there on a school trip. It wasn't CNN saying this, it was people who knew him personally in real life.

He also literally beat up his own mother in 2010. What a fabulous, upstanding gentleman.

If a black communist had done the same thing to a bunch of white people, you'd all be calling for him to get doused in petrol and set on fire. Fields has rightly been slapped with a load of charges, and you have a very different view of the US justice system from me if you think that's unfair.

Antifa is human trash but it's not like Fields was a good boy who dindu nuffin, he was a dangerously volatile nutcase looking to start shit who reacted in a disproportionate way when pushed by other psychos. You can't play like he was white St. Tray-tray just innocently strolling along when trouble magically fell into his lap, though antifa def exacerbated the situation. Reading about him, he strikes me as the kind of guy whose combination of anger, psychosis, and extreme stupidity make him better suited for a group home with no internet connection than radical politics.

The whole C-ville thing is a textbook case of why street level revolution is a dumb idea. People get hurt, people get killed, and the supercharged atmosphere around it means "justification" that would be sneered at in any other encounter suddenly has traction in court.

You feared for you life in broad daylight on a public street so much you indiscriminately rammed a crowd? Really? Well, when that crowd is ANTIFA who thinks any white man in a muscle car is a redneck out to satisfy his lynching fix, you bet you'd reasonably fear for your safety. And on the flip side "He's a Nazi, he intended to do harm to his sworn enemeies, we have proof he went there looking for a fight" Yeah, I've seen "proof" of Nazism and imminent violence in everything from air conditioning settings to people scratching their ears..... I'm nazi-fatigued to the point where I no longer care to listen even if he does have a questionable posting history on the internet.

That means there's no possible way to adjudicate it in court that doesn't leave half the people even more pissed off.

Antifa will say he didn't get enough, even if convicted (he shoulda been shot!) and hardcore Trumpers will say he got too much, even if acquitted (they should've sent him home with a business card for the nearest auto bodyshop, not charged him)

When political extremists clash, nobody ever wins.

I'm gonna go ahead and cross-post from the Kavanaugh thread because this is some funny shit.

I went looking through Sarah Silverman's Twitter to try and find if the post accusing Rachel Mitchell of appealing to white
supremacists is real, but I found this retweet instead:

So like in another thread about Trump ordering the text messages in the FISA documents to be released, I had pointed out Adam Schiff had a weird-ass GoFundMe-esque donation box going on.

Turns out it's a thing set up strictly to raise Democrats' campaign money or some shit.

:story: Fuck Joe Manchin and Heidi Heitkamp, though. How dare they be "undecided" on Kavanaugh. That'll show 'em.

Counter point:
He was a retard, but understandably spooked by being surrounded by a bunch of angry yelling people. Everyone played stupid games, everyone won stupid prizes.

That said, the TL;DR is I don't see any reason to say bad things about this guy until antifa & BLM agree that Michael "Gentle Giant" Brown brought his death upon himself by an entire sequence of dumbass decisions, chiefly robbing a convenience store and charging a cop.

I would include St. TrayTray on that, but...well, like the media I just can't bring myself to care about violence when its between blacks and hispanics.

I'm impressed, they took the "read another book" meme to heart for once.

Meme magic IS real.

No doubt, Charlottesville was sped city. I just like calling a sped a sped, instead of making excuses for him because I dislike the other side more. As for Tray and Mike, look at a bell curve and guess who's disproportionately on the cop-rushing, liquor store-robbing sped side (you get the same number of guesses as ethnicities on the census)...

And the thing is, internet-based activism was working great for the alt-right. For once, the left didn't have the edge and struggled to keep up with conservatives, instead of the other way around like usual, but the NEETsoc larper crew had to piss that away like so many extinguished tiki torches. I'm convinced there was no strategic purpose for UTR other than to make a bunch of spergs and ecelebs feel important.

So was Andrew Breitbart, who's to say she won't become red-pilled?

Her father, husband, and brother as well as being a part of a family-owned multi-million dollar empire. I don't know much about Andrew Breitbart, but Ivanka won't ever be in a position to have to deal with the product of her political ideology.

I like how pointing out that the guy wasn't there for the express purpose of running people over, and that he panicked, has turned into making excuses for what the guy did.

Oh it was definitely to boost the egos of self appointed supreme beings such as Dick Spencer.
The retard rallies was fucking fun though, some of the smackdowns were absolutely legendary.

I think Michael brown and Eric Garner serve as good litmus tests for this sort of thing. Anyone who either thinks both are heroes in the great dindu tragedy, or that both deserved to die, is probably just retarded. The TDS victims and the MAGAbois live in two different versions of reality somehow.
